First I don't understand that GUIRunonce or how to make the files or what, but I have put in all the lines in the cmdlines.txt. I would like all of the things I need done in the cmdlines.txt.

Yes I do. I had two other cmd files that run very well. One was reg tweaks and the other was creating a user automatically.

Hi. I need some help. Sorry if someone already asked the question. I think this question should be very easy. I want to install adware 6 and ms powertools. I have all the script but when windows goes to install I get an error saying that it can't find C:\install\Applications\AdAware\aaw6181.exe C:\install\Applications\Powertoys\TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe how would I fix my cmd file so it can get to the file. There is a picture of the way my folders are setup and below I'm going to inlcude my batch. Cmd/Batch file: @echo off echo. ECHO. ECHO Installing Lavasoft Ad-Aware 6 Build 181 ECHO Please wait... start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\AdAware\aaw6181.exe /s ECHO. Hey where do I put regtweaks.reg. This page tells me to put them in C:\xpcd\$OEM$ http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/hkcu_registry.htm And this page tells me to put it in C:\XPCD\$OEM$\$1\install\ http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/registrytweaks.htm Which one is it? My cmdlines.txt is in C:\xpcd\$oem$

Hey I have a compaq keyboard. I download the exe package from compaq and extracted the contants. Then I extracted a zip ran I zip exe and it sent all the files to C:\hp\tmp and wanted to continue with the instllation. I cancled it. Any ways I want to be able to include everything I need for the keyboard in my windows install. This is what the folder looks like.

What are chipsets? Second were can I find them under the device manager. Thirdly which file do I use. I think I have an intell 865 chipset. Here is a screen shot.

so does the iso maker in nlight just takes the files it has edited and make it into an iso?

Hi I have found this really neat site. http://unattended.msfn.org/ My question is if I use nlight to make my install disc would I open up an iso editor and add the files I need to, to the iso like for example. If I was to use this tweak http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/hkcu_registry.htm Is this what I will do? I open up the iso file in nero and then I add a folder called $OEM$ add the files cmdlines.txt and regtweaks.reg in that folder. Well I hope you understand what I'm saying if you don't please let me know.

I heard that windows xp service pack 2 is coming out in setember I guess not?

Hi everyone. I put up this post cause I had a bunch of problems. Hopefully you will find this usefull. I made an nlight boot disc for windows using my compaq presario. First I made a folder and put my I386 folder that was on the C:\ drive in the folder that I made. Then I copyed the file I have attached below to the same folder I made. Then I ran nlight select the folder I made I selected everything I wanted to disinclude from the install. After words I ran another file called keyfinder to find my serial number and wrote it down. Then burned the iso image to a disc and after that I booted of the cd I burned. I entered the serial number keyfinder gave me and everything worked. Note: if you didn't need activate you computer when you first got from the store you shouldn't need to after the install. This is what I did. idents.zip
