    Win 8 new Bluescreen - how can i change this Bluescreen

    in Win 8 a new Bluescreen was insert at Microsoft.

    Now i would changes this Backgriund and text.

    I Think the info for the bluescreen is to search in the bootres.dll.

    With the ResHacker can find the Text. But when i change the Text an replace the original bootress.dll nothing was changed when a bluescreen came.

    Everybody an idea how can i chnage the new bluescreen in windows 8.

    Green Background in Win 8 Install

    Hi one question about Win8 Install and the green Background.

    How can i replace this with my own image ?

    i have edit the spwizimg.dll, the shsx.dll in install.wim.

    Also i have edit the background and setup image in boot.wim (also in the oobe directory).

    Now i can't find the file with this green background.

    Can me help ?

    Listing Of Shell32.dll icon

    One question.

    When i open the shell32.dll ( C:\Windows\System32 ) with ResHacker or Anolis Resourcer the Icons have not the nimber of the list post #5.

    is it with you too?

    Example the Icon 137 in the Picture.

    When i open the shell32.dll this icon is nr. 246 ?

    Can anyone explain this?

    There some problem whit a error under here. Tha RT_Mount folder created in a temp folder , can't be removed. If i try to reopen rt7 exe,it say that i must delete the install.wim file mounted in the folder that i can't try to delete. Is possible to rename but non delete it.

    You must unmount the install.wim in the mount folder of RT Se7en Lite.

    You can`t delete this file:

    Open the konsole as admin and write this:

    c:\Programme\Windows_AIK\Tools\x86(or amd64)\imagex /unmount c:\ ... and here the Path to the mount folder

    when the unmounting prozess is finished, the mount folder is empty and you can delete this folder.

    Hi,

    first you must mount the boot.wim [index 2].

    Now search at w32uires.dll .

    Them open this file with the ResHacker an open the String Table.

    There in the entrie Number 21 you can find this text.

    Error in version 1.0.8

    I have just once the new version 1.0.8 (32bit and 64bit tested).

    Old version I have previously uninstalled.

    It comes at me with Win 7 x86 as well as in Win x64 7 after mount the image the following error message:

    someone has an idea why the errors come from?

    Other people on Win-Lite.de have the same problem. But under a virtual machine this error not comes.

    7Customizer - a Windows 7 Customization and Deployment tool

    Hi @ All.

    In the official German Support-Forum for 7Customizer the User pru79 had this error:

    He works on Windows 7 HP x64 . He has his Windows data to c:\7customizer\win7x64\ copied.

    The files of the customizer are in c:\7customizer .

    Now he wanted to integrate updates (only msu-files) and create an ISO file.

    With the KLICK on Apply this error comes:

    DISM does not support the maintenance of Windows Vista RTM or an older operating system.

    If the operating system is supported, check that "SSShim.DLL" is available.

    The DISM log file located at C: \ Windows \ Logs \ DISM \ dism.log.

    Tool for image management for the provision

    Version: 6.1.7600.16385

    I've attached the dism.log

    I have recommended him to the WAIK for Windows 7 to remove and reinstall.

    I have also recommended to him the files of the customizers to remove and reinstall.

    I have also recommended him to copy the Windows 7 files to c: \ win7x64 so they do not lie below the installation folder of 7Customizers.
