  1. Hi guys, I've been reading on a lot of threads and sites that AS WELL as the .NET 3.5 SP1 package, you should also first install the .NET 2.0 SP2 as well. I was under the impression that the 3.5 SP1 package contained all the up to date 2.x - 3.x CLRs. Is this not so? (BTW, I am creating installs for both XP x86 and x64 - don't know if that makes a difference. Just thought I'd mention it!) Many thanks, Martin
  2. Hi everyone, I have searched on this forum and on Google for these answers, but I've seen so many variations, that I thought I would try and get the "definitive" answer from you wonderful, fine, intelligent people Could someone please tell me the switches for unattended (but minimal GUI - progress bar for example) installation with NO reboots of the following files in RunOnceEx: - .NET 1.1 SP1 + ASP Update (all integrated - so the file to run is netfx.msi) - .NET 3.5 SP1 FullFile (the file is dotnetfx35.exe) - 3 Updates for .NET 3.5 SP1 (filenames are all .exes, not msis) As I said, I have seen so many variations on the switches, I really don't know which ones to use. Finally, should I extract the .NET 3.5 SP1 updates and try and integrate them into the main 3.5 SP1 install, or is that asking for trouble? Many thanks! Martin Hughes
  3. Hi guys, Is there a way to integrate the SPTD (1.58) driver (the SCSI Pass Through used by DaemonTools) into the driver install? I have downloaded the EXE from DuplexSecure, but cannot seem to extract it into a useful format (I suppose .sys + inf would be the best!) Failing that (excuse my newbie question now) is there a way to automatically set DaemonTools to restart after its initial SPTD install, with no user interaction? Many thanks, Martin
