system cannot find the file TEMP\SPACKS\UPDATE\UP
LONG I am sorry I thought I had attached my log file, and unfortunatley there is not much more to say. I have reattached the log file.. I have all the service packs for xp pro in the right folders, after the latest service pack extracts I get the above windows error. "system cannot find the file TEMP\SPACKS\UPDATE\UPDATE.EXE." I guess xpcreate is lookin in the wrong place or the service pack is unpacked to the wrong directory. all worked fine with Windows-KB841720-ENU.exe. ----

Error: Cannot find BOOTIMG file
Doesn't the instalation into a new directory count as a new instal???? Have copied the service pack and hotfixes over but on the new instal xpcreate copies the cd to cd source(new folder), then comes up with the cannot read the bootimg.bin?? so getting nowhere fast? Any ideas and thanks for your reply.

Error: Cannot find BOOTIMG file
I am having the same problem, after upgrading xpcreate, the bin file is in the boot folder but xpcreate is unable to read it. Also I have reinstaled to a new destination, it copies the xp cd but then fails to be able to read the bin file, in the new boot folder. Is there a fix for this?? Do I have to alter the ini file???
