I would not like to do it that way. IF I were to do that I could put a reg file and a batch in the all users startup folder and have it run at logon. I would like something that is able to determine all the users on a machine and adjust all the profiles.

I am talking about 800 machines. I know you guys are all pro with this stuff and could help me.

I need to modify hkcu for all users on a PC. How can I get this accomplished by using an administrator level account. All subsequent users do not have the ability to use regedit or any other tool. I guess the best way would be a script of some sort, but I dont know what to use or how to mod all user accounts.

I have added the vaious namespaces to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpaces\ {208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-08002B30309D} {2227A280-3AEA-1069-A2DE-08002B30309D} {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} {7007ACC7-3202-11D1-AAD2-00805FC1270E} {D20EA4E1-3957-11D2-A40B-0C5020524153} {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF} I dont see any of these added to the right Click of My Computer. I am completing my unnattended dvd and was wondering if you could copy the administrator profile to the defaul user profile from runonce? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having a curious issue. I am creating a new user accout using the cmdlines.txt which looks like so: [COMMANDS] "useraccounts.cmd" "RunOnceEx.cmd" Here is my useraccounts.cmd file: As you can see I am creating an account and trying to apply the quick lauch file to the default user profile as well. REG LOAD "HKU\CUSTOM" "C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\NTUSER.DAT" regedit /s DefaultUser.reg REG UNLOAD "HKU\CUSTOM" net user Jim laura1 /add net localgroup Administrators Jim /add net accounts /maxpwage:unlimited REGEDIT /S autologon.reg EXIT Unfortunalely the new account does not have the quick lauch toolbat activated. On another note the Administrator profile is not created either?? Any ideas?

My winnt.sif has: [shell] DefaultStartPanleOff=Yes Should I remove this line ?

HOw do you get windows to default to luna theme for unattended versus the classic theme ? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I was wondering if there is an easy way to set your toolbar back to the normal theme once u have patch the uxtheme.dll file. It looks like this goes to the defaul theme. I am creating an unattended dvd and would like to set it back after this file has been patched, Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it safe to state all I need to do is add the quick_launch reg to my existing tweaks as I am using thr runonce method to import them. Also how could I automatically capture short cuts to this toolbar ? Would I have to add them first then capture the same registry key and import that ? Thanks for your quick response...

I am using cdimage pro to create an ISO. Can I write This iso to DVD or do I need to covert it to be compatible for DVD format ? I want the DVD to be bootable with my XP unaatedned stuff. Thaks in advance for any help you provide.

I am posting to see if there is an easy way to change a winxp cd to full cd so i dont have to do a cd swap. I have read all the stuff concerning the setupp.ini, but that doesnt seem to work,. My file looks like the below: [Pid] ExtraData=7677657A737273766F70F43CC136A0 Pid=55276000 I have the retail upgrade version. I have tried all the pids that are on the net , but it doesnt work. Im trying to create an unattended installation with windows Xp upgrade cd. Is there a way to full windows into thinking it is a full install or is there a way to automate the validation of a previous version of windows. Thanks you in advance for your help...
