i downloaded the xplode 1.1.2 and extracted it.....then ran the "run_with_logging.bat" without modifying any file...then i got a log file,but unlike others' posted on forum ,the format looked so disordered and some plugins did not seem to load sucessfully.... No wonder i failed to write data into registry using the <registry> tag.i just want to know why,is that a bug? and how about yours? ****...i forgot the code..here's it - = - = - = - = - = - = - > X P l o d e s t a r t a t : 0 4 / 0 8 / 2 1 0 3 : 4 3 : 4 5 X P l o d e { L o a d i n g P l u g i n s ( S D K 2 . 0 ) { L o a d u n s u c c e s s f u l : H : \ D o w n l o a d \ X P l o d e - 1 . 1 . 2 \ X P l o d e A d d u s e r P l u g i n 2 . x p d 2 L o a d s u c c e s s f u l : H : \ D o w n l o a d \ X P l o d e - 1 . 1 . 2 \ X P l o d e E x a m p l e P l u g i n 2 . x p d 2 L o a d s u c c e s s f u l : H : \ D o w n l o a d \ X P l o d e - 1 . 1 . 2 \ X P l o d e E x e c u t e P l u g i n 2 . x p d 2 L o a d u n s u c c e s s f u l : H : \ D o w n l o a d \ X P l o d e - 1 . 1 . 2 \ X P l o d e F S O p s P l u g i n 2 . x p d 2 L o a d u n s u c c e s s f u l : H : \ D o w n l o a d \ X P l o d e - 1 . 1 . 2 \ X P l o d e R e g i s t r y P l u g i n 2 . x p d 2 L o a d s u c c e s s f u l : H : \ D o w n l o a d \ X P l o d e - 1 . 1 . 2 \ X P l o d e S h o r t c u t P l u g i n 2 . x p d 2 } R e g i s t e r i n g c o m m a n d s { C o m m a n d : e x a m p l e , ( 0 , 0 ) C o m m a n d : e x e c u t e , ( 1 , 0 ) C o m m a n d : s h o r t c u t , ( 2 , 0 ) } C o m m a n d l i n e P a r a m e t e r : ' / h e l p : ' , V a l u e : ' ' C o m m a n d l i n e P a r a m e t e r : ' / x m l : ' , V a l u e : ' H : \ D o w n l o a d \ X P l o d e - 1 . 1 . 2 \ X P l o d e . x m l ' P a r s i n g X M L : H : \ D o w n l o a d \ X P l o d e - 1 . 1 . 2 \ X P l o d e . x m l { C o n f i g u r a t i o n B l o c k { W i n d o w M o d e = ' s t a n d a l o n e ' h i d e w i n d o w = ' W i n d o w s U p d a t e ' h i d e w i n d o w = ' C M D . Rico.JohnnY replied to Denney's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
it cant be.. it works fine for me and i also have an xp sp2 rc2... just check the InfID....only the first two parts will be needed.. and the IPAdress part can be replaced with anyone as you wish. the PnPID is permanant and exclusive for each device, and is made by OEM.. -
Networking for 2 computers?
Rico.JohnnY replied to Denney's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
add the following to winnt.sif Please specify InfID for each adapter on the two comps,to look for the InfID,just following these steps 1.Right-click My Computer, and then click Manage. 2.Double-click System Tools, double-click System Information, double-click Components, double-click Network, and then click the Adapter folder. A report is generated describing the name of the adapters installed, followed by the "Adapter Type." For each physical network adapter installed, record the Plug and Play ID string displayed in the "Adapter Type" field. if the system can not find the specified adapter,it will ignore it,so the above can be used in both comps, and configure the right adapter properly -

Using static IP address in unattended cd
Rico.JohnnY replied to edmoncu's topic in Unattended Windows 2000/XP/2003
unless all the computers itself has only one adapter, you can have the InfID set to * ,and it works the same on every computer(you can specify multipyle ip and subnetMask ,separated by comma).Otherwise, you should specify the IDs,or MAC,or Bus Location.... -
