  1. No problem dude. Of course your real life is more important than this! The fact that you are making this driverpack is great on its own! Well I'm going to reformat my PC now, I messed it up somehow with these drivers and some nLite bugs propably. I'll just do a regular installation of XP. No more unattanted installation problems for me. I'll give it another try for sure if all nasty little bugs are ironed out.
  2. I finally tried your driverpack Bashrat. But it didn't work as it should. I have the same problem as Dinsdale described. It doesn't install the control panels when I add the line you specified in the readme files to a .cmd file windows executes after windows installation is finished. (lol at sentence ) So I tried to manually install the control panels. I think the installation worked, I don't remember exactly. But I do rember the ikernel.exe error. Well installation is completed but they still don't work. The error is like this: "The audio device supported by this application was not found. The application will be terminated." So, no 5.1 sound for me just 2.1. In the windows control panel I have set it to 5.1 speakers, but in Windows, UT2004 (which is a multi channel game) and windvd only 2 speakers and the sub work. I think the Firewire port works, tho I can't check that coz I don't have any Firewire devices. I am running Windows XP SP1 with a SB Audigy 2 ZS retail. Conclusion: it needs work - Control panels - Mutlti channel (might be solved if control panel works)
  3. I found another typo in the same line. It says "DRIVERS\S\CR\L" where it should say "DRIVERS\S\CR\LS" I think. IMHO you should really double check important lines for typos ... Or triple check if you already double checked
  4. Nice driverpack dude! But you've got a serious typo in your "addtowinntsif.htm" file. The long line that says oempnpdriverspath...... look for a missing D in the word drivers. Keep up the good work
  5. You can also download Virtual PC and test it on your PC with the Audigy, while not messing with your actual OS. [Click me]
  6. It's probably been asked once but I don't want to go through 60 pages of text. Are the DirectX file and the WMP file multi-langigual? I have a Dutch version of XP.
  7. I think there is a bug with the indexing service. I checked it for removal but it's still there. Well it's not in the list of services.msc, but when I view the properties of my harddrive (C: i mean), the option to index is still available and works. PS. I'm confused with all the slipstreaming. Most sticky topics require basic knowledge of slipstreaming to comprehend. Can someone please give me a link to or tell me the basics of slipstreaming and making registry tweaks. I would appreciate it very much.
  8. Hi, this is my first post on this forum. First I'd like to compliment you on this wonderful program At the moment I'm installing the Dutch version of Windows XP Professional SP1, I haven't slimpstreamed SP2. This CD originally came with SP1. Everything seems to be going OK But I'm wondering if there is a way to slipstream any driver I want, the newest DirectX, windows updates (hotfixes) etc.? That would be great. That way when you have to re-install windows you can just make a new CD without all rubbish but including every new driver and hotfix OK, setup is complete. I notice my mouse is recognized as PS/2, while it is a USB mouse. Is this Virtual PC's fault? Also it isn't as fast as my normal Windows, but that's because of the Virtual PC right? Anywayz this is a fine product!
