  1. x64 - Server 2008 or Vista Ultimate

    I can't remember if it's neccesary to work or just to be legal, but you're supposed to use Ultimate with quad-core processors. Also you don't have Media Center, Movie Maker, all that crap. For me, I would take Home Premium or Ultimate over Business anyday.

    Grafx - I followed this layout fairly close and it came out to 5 and a half gigs initial install. Michal - don't bother removing UAC. Just disable it under tweaks. If "something" were to try to enable them and it were not installed it would be a huge headache. Lobbie - you are absolutely right. My main concern aside from wrong explinations is that he advocates using freeware in place of some accessories, but not others, and says to use something better than defender "Seriously" without any explaination or suggestions...
