I just started up a forum on a whim (mainly to learn the ins and outs of setting one up). It is just a fun place to hang out. IMO, go with the second one. But, if it supports DDR, use DDR memory.

No problem FthrJACK. I am all about saving steps. Having these all zipped up saves quite a few steps. There are other tweaks out there but this is a good starter list.

I would suggest, as above, at least a 350 watt power supply. 400 would be better.

I was born and raised in West Texas. Spanish was just something you picked up as you grew up. The population of my home town was a little over 100,000. I would say that around 40,000 or so spoke Spanish.

If the section takes off and you have any trouble with finding people with specific language abilities to moderate let me know. I do know several trusted individuals who speak different languages and are somewhat knowledgeable with computers. I am not speaking for them to say they would be interested, but I can ask if you need the help.

I didn't receive one with mine. I did, however, purchase the adapter which I am not using but is nice to have. I run dual monitors on 2 video cards. 1 AGP Radeon with VGA and DVI out (19' monitor)and 1 PCI GeForce2 (17' monitor).

The new Foreign Communities section looks like a good idea. We have had several non-english speaking members on our forum and it is sometimes difficult to understand questions or convey answers to the member. Once a foreign member notices the section, they will probably invite friends to join. One concern of which I am sure you are already discussing. You will need Moderators who understand each language well enough to pick out threads or posts which may go against forum rules such as warez or porn, etc. Just a thought.

No problem. You all know that DVI is a digital out for flat panel monitors etc. And just for information purposes, for about $10 US, you can buy a small converter that will allow you to run a normal monitor off the DVI output. Some may find that handy.
