Just because you can't do it over the internet doesn't mean you can't do it via phone - it is a non-issue. Just give Adobe a phone call.

UPDATE: I didn't try KB890830, KB905866, or KB943729 because I don't want them. KB952709 did a few reboots but decided on it's own to give up and return my system back to it's prior to KB952709 state. I suspect that had there been other updates trying to install at the same time this one may cause the dreaded endless reboot. There may be a chance that the ones I didn't even try cause it. Aside from what I've listed above, there are no remaining updates.

Same problem, luckily I decided to keep System Restore so I've been able to go back to a restore point prior to using Windows Update. I'm in the process of trying to figure out which update is causing the problem by doing only a few updates at a time. If I figure out which update I'll let you know.
