That lies the problem. Where the office pc's are I know the signal won't reach without some kind of help either put some kind of booster to the building itself then find some kind of converter to get it into the office itself. Would it be easier to just run CAT 5 over and then go from there? If so is there anything special I need to do or and special kind of CAT 5 I need to get?

A family friend just got satellite internet at their home. They called me out last night to look at the setup. They have it in their house and am wanting the service at the office too, the office is probably 300+ ft. away. I am going to set them up with wireless in the home, but not sure if that's an option to the office or not. Is there a way to shoot the signal that far, if so, the office itself is in the far end of the building, he owns a dozer business so he has a shop and equipment in front. a lot of walls to get there. If I could get the signal to at least right inside the garage part, I could put a router in from there and string a wire back. I don't have a problem stringing CAT 5 to the office, just need to know if there's anything special I need to do. Thanks in advance!

Have you tried having the scripts run at startup rather than logon. I've found that some scripts I've had issues running at logon has resolved at having them boot at system startup.

Have you tried uninstalling SP3 and trying the driver install again?

My co-worker's machine is running office 2003 and has run into an issue. Anytime he tries to send an e-mail he receives and error message: "The file outlook.ost is in use and can not be accessed. Close any application that is using this file, then try again." I tried running the scan test I found on MS site, but it errored out. Any ideas?

I disabled Word as the default editor. I won't reinstall Word unless it does it again. Thanks cluberti.

Her system did it again this morning. I ran that test again. I tried zipping the file but the zip is 75MB zipped thanks to the .dmp file. Do you all need the .dmp file or not? If not I won't include it and upload the rest.

My boss keeps getting an error in her Outlook 2003. She says it'll lock up on her, then once it releases, she receives the following error message: I went to Event Viewer and found this: Any thoughts on what could be causing it?

I know that Exchange Server 2007 has the same issue going on. Have you tried running updates for Office and Outlook? If not try that and see what happens.

I wonder if this will show up in the next MAC VS. PC commercial?

Quick question, your internal drives, are they SATA? If so that's why their popping up. I've seen this in XP on machines I've built. Not sure how to remedy this, any other thoughts?
