  1. Hi. Intel do not provide official drivers for the igpu HD 2500/4000 or for the chipset B75 for Vista. I would like to install Vista. The motherboard manufacturer (Asus) provides drivers for XP & 7. Is it possible the drivers for 7 will install on Vista? I would just like to ask before going through the hassle of attempting this. Thanks.
  2. Hi jaclaz, and thanks for your help. The problem has been solved. Your suggestion to try another browser (portable) was something I had thought about a few days ago, and today I actually did try Moz Firebird (yes, 12 years old). That was only partially successful, as I could access the config pages but some of the sub menus wouldn't render, so back to square one. But it did prove that indeed it was a browser issue. So, from years ago I remembered using a Gecko based browser called K-Meleon. Alas, after trying two difference builds, the latest version works (almost) like a charm. Many thanks for both replies.
  3. I can't comment on your doubts about a settting in 7 being the culprit, but I can tell you for certain that it would appear I am the only person with this problem. I have searched far and wide on the net and there is not one single posting that mirrors my problem. The pdf link model appears to be different to what I have, and I don't know anything about telnet, so I don't know if this would help me as my only objective in the router configuration is to open ports. Thank you for your reply, though, Tripredacus.
  4. Hi everyone. I recently obtained a Zyxel router from my isp. I have a dual boot setup; with XP I have no problem accessing the config settings page - however, on Win7, my primary use drive, I am unable to access the config page. In 7, when I log in, I am brought back to the original router network map page, over and over again: In 7 I have 3 browsers; IE9. FF, & Chromium. In XP I have only IE8 installed. So, the fact that in 7, with 3 browsers unable to access the config page, does this not imply there is a related reason for this? I really don't have a clue how to even begin to resolve this but I know there are many brilliant people on this board so I'm hoping someone can help me find the 'bug' in Win7 that will allow me to actually use this router. Many thanks.
  5. A few months ago I slipstreamed my AHCI drivers into my XP iso. Worked flawlessly, so it's not nlite. On another note for those with a dual XP/7 setup, you will want to read this. B)
  6. Every time those pesky pop-up videos appear I just wack them with my mallet, and, voila! Gone. There are others that use knives to defeat them, too. Try one of those methods and report back which one was more successful.
