Hello, I searched but do not see this solution. I installed the Vlited version if Vista Ultimate w/SP1 Integrated. This go well and the OS installs but the netwrok and sharing page is alays blank.. I have tried moving the QUTIL.DLL from the vista disc to windows\system32 and still nothing.. Any suggestions as to what I could be doing wrong? I followed the guide made by Randomness and I still get the same issue.. Please advise. Thanks

I am having similar issues as per my post here. I can get all the way through to making a CD and when I try the modified ISO or CD out, Windows will go through the set up process and then it just reboots it self and I get memory error messages and I have tried to set the memory as high as 1GB and as low as 128MB. This is getting frustrating because I have tried various methods and one of them is just the drivers and no other mods. The unattended section is also properly filled in. At this point, I have pretty much given up and will just resort to the old fashined way with all the crap installed. Any suggestions would be great.

Hello, I am having all kinds of issues getting a nlited copy of XP w/SP2 to work. It works fine if all I do is integrate the SATA HDD but when I add a couple of add ons (IE7, WMP11, Google Toolbar, FireFox and Ultra ISO), things go sideways. I have a Dell OEM CD from my Dell PC and I also have tried a corporate copy with SP2. For the most part, the nlite process goes smoothly and I get an ISO but when I test the ISO in VMware, I either get some sort of a SIF error (happened twice) OR the setup in VMWare does NOT finish and it just keeps rebooting itself over and over. A few times I got a page file error so I fixed that by letting Windows manager it for me but the last 5 tests I have done, VMware will not finish set up. I have removed most of the add ons but still same issues. I am guessing that I am removing something else but I really do not know what could be causing the infinite reboots in VMWare. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
