  1. There does not seem to be any easy way, or any laid out steps that are exact and work. It has been trial and error. I tested my last slipstream with RVM update pack. Nlite says it integrated it, BUT, I got no hotfixes. The update pack was the 2nd one on the list of addons/ hotfixes. At the addon screen of addon/hotfix, it says hotfixes need to be in order. Does that mean addons also? beats me. I am now redoing and putting the pack 1st. I gave up on WMP11. It will probably be 12 or 13 when I need the slipstream anyways. If I get the update pack to work, and my 5 addons that I really want, I may leave it as it is. But, This is something that is to the point I want to/ need to make it work (for my sanity... I do not like giving up). I may then try the additional 18+ that are left AFTER the RVM pack.
  2. I gave up on RVM integrator. I couldn't get it to really work the way I wanted. I am using Nlite, RVM update pack, and Nlite addons specifically. That seems to be working the best. The problem I have is that every time I do an integration with the addons and unattended, I get a disaster. Oh it works, but, I won't get all the addons and the unattended mode comes out with something different when I test my install. I tell it no passwords and it stops at that screen. I change the display (most times it works. I customise the dates/timezones and I always have to input it. My latest is ok, even with the attention needed to the "unattended". I tried 5 addons and got them (and they work). I have yet to get WMP10 or 11 to install properly. I am leaving it at WMP9. I am now going for the additional 18+ KB hotfixes that M$ updates wants after the install. And I watched the Nlite videos on how to do this. No help. I can tell you that the hotfixes/ addons have to go in by date order. that seems to work best. Good luck, because there does not seem to be a complete, full integration, with addons, that works completely. But in its defense, the integrations are doing a major change to the install, so I do not believe that I will attain exactly what I am looking for.
  3. Some problems I ran in to with the SVPACK.inf was: "MSGDI+detection" didn't detect any office, picture it, or .net ".net" requires windows installer first I did a google search and found there is a .net 3.5 It encompasses all previous .nets. I am now testing RVM integrator with his update pack and some addons. I am "completing installation/ 24 mins" Time will tell.
  4. I finally got my integration to work. I have been at it for 5 days. I have read forum after forum and have learned a lot. It is not as easy as everyone thinks. My 1st attempt was Nlite and the hotfixes from WUD (windows update download). Numerous errors and reboots. Tried RVM Integrator and his update pack. Failures with that also. Reboots and blue screens. Did Nlite with the RVM pack. same mixed results. Went to Nlite and the SVCPACK. inf method. At least got the OS installed, BUT Qfecheck and Belarc showed 93 hotfixs and 21 needed reinstall. I lost track of the number of OS install I did. (I didn't want to due a virtual disk), because I had another comp I could play with. Went back to Nlite and the pack from RVM. Made some adjustments to the Nlite for unattended and component removal. It went great!!! Belarc and Qfecheck confirm all updates ok. I am now working on integrating an additional 18 hotfixes and some addons. Start with a clean XP install saved on the HD. Use Nlite and integrate the SP2. Then integrate the RVM pack under the addon section. Good luck.
