  1. Everything works fine with all these DPs : BTS_DriverPacks_BASE_V5113 + DriverPack_Chipset_V511 + DriverPack_CPU_V506 + DriverPack_Graphics_B_V511 + DriverPack_LAN_V5101 + DriverPack_MassStorage_V510 + DriverPack_Sound_A_V511 + DriverPack_Sound_B_V511 + DriverPack_WLAN_V511 So, YES : nvidia graphics driver causes BSOD (when used with other DPs, in "Method2" here). I have the following DP_Graphics_A to find if one works fine : - DriverPack_Graphics_A_V5101 : I remember it was crashing, but i will try again (forceware 81.85 whql). - DriverPack_Graphics_A_V510 : i will try to downgrade with this one (forceware 78.01 whql) if A_V5101 fails. - DriverPack_Graphics_A_V508 : i will try with this one too (forceware 77.77 whql), if A_V510 fails. More news tomorrow (if none works ... ).
  2. @ruud : BSOD is so quick that i don't have time to see it. I've tried to "pause" but there is no way to see a single word of the BSOD. I'me currently compiling a new install XP without DP_chipset and with DP_graphic A & B. If it works, after I will add again DP_chipset 511 (after having manually deleted "N" directory inside), and keep DP_graphics A & B. More news very soon...
  3. I've made some more testing on my Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra-9 (nForce4 ultra). 1/ BTS_DriverPacks_BASE_V5113 + DriverPack_Chipset_V511 + DriverPack_CPU_V506 + DriverPack_MassStorage_V510 ==> works fine ! (I don't understand why it was BSOD'ing before like I said in my previous post) 2/ same as 1/, adding : DriverPack_Graphics_A_V5101 + DriverPack_Graphics_B_V511 ==> I can finish the install, but XP crash (BSOD) and reboots during XP starting . I can boot in "fail safe mode", then it detects new hardware, and XP asks for reboot. Then I start XP in normal mode, and it works, no more BSOD during startup . I'll try another test without DP_Chipset_V511 and DP_Graphics_A_V5101 together.
  4. Yes, it looks like to be the same problem : I can not complete the install neither. I'll try tomorrow to make my own Chipset pack with only nforce4 drivers to see if it works.
  5. I have a Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra-9 (nForce4 ultra). When installing a fresh new WinXP SP2 UA made with BTS_DriverPacks_BASE_V5113 + DriverPack_Chipset_V511.7z + DriverPack_CPU_V506.7z + DriverPack_MassStorage_V510.7z it can not finish install. First part of install is OK, but after the first reboot, it reboots again. I tried "fail safe" mode, and I had just enough time to see "nv..." before the reboot. So I made again my WinXP UA and changed DriverPack_Chipset_V511.7z with old DriverPack_Chipset_V5072.7z and everything works fine. I seems there's a problem with DriverPack_Chipset_V511. I've attached HWIDs. HWIDs.txt
  6. I confirm. I have a generic "Forbidden" error when I try to access http://www.idoopc.co.uk/dp.
  7. J've just downloaded DriverPack_MassStorage_V510 and BTS_DriverPacks_BASE_V5104, and i have the error. Setup says that "Si3132r5.sys" in [sourceDisksFiles] section is missing or corrupted. Same error with Si3132.sys, Si3124r5.sys. I didn't test with others Si* .
  8. I have made this post a few weeks ago, and I'm still waiting for response(s)
  9. New HWID : IBM ThinkPad T42P : PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4E54&SUBSYS_054F1014&REV_80\4&1BFA44D4&0&0008: ATI MOBILITY FIRE GL T2/T2e
  10. Motherboard : Asus A7M266-D with Promise SX4000 HWIDs.txt
  11. I've tested on other computers, and it works fine on : - Compaq Armada M700 (p3 700mhz) - Compaq Evo W6000 (2 xeon 1.4 ghz, i860, scsi disk) - HP-Compaq Evo534 FC P4 (p4 2.8 ghz, i865G, ata disk) - DELL Optiplex GX260 (P4 2.0 ghz, i845G, ata disk) - MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum (nForce3 ultra, AMD64 3500+, sata disk) A friend of mine has got also a Asus A7M266-D ... and does BSOD also .
  12. Hello, I'm using DP MassStorage_V5073.7z (and other DPs) to make my unattended CD using Method2. I'm having a BSOD when booting the CD on my Asus A7M266-D motherboard with a "STOP 0x0000007B (0xF8CC3524 0xC0000034 0x00000000 0x00000000)" error message. I've tried the same CD on other computers with the following hardware : - Asus A7N8x-x (nforce2, barton 2500+) - IBM netvista a40 (i815, p3 1ghz) - Toshiba Satellite Pro (p3 1 ghz) and its works fine : the cd boots and shows hard disk & partition selection info. On the Asus A7M266-D the BSOD comes just before this screen. I've removed all hardware I could on the computer (Promise SX4000 and Adaptec u160) and that changed nothing, i have still the same BSOD. I've also made again my CD to include only MassStorage_V5073.7z (so no more other DPs), and tested it again : BSOD I've tried also only DP MassStorage with Method 1 : BSOD It seems the Asus A2M266-D is "incompatible" with DP MassStorage 5073. I've attached a rar file with all hardware info, and setup files used to make the CD. Any idea ? Thanks for help. files.rar
  13. I've remade from the beginning the whole processs : sliptream SP2 to i386, apply all latests DriversPacks in Method2 ... and no more error.
  14. I have the same "aliide.sys" file error using Method 1 when booting the CD (made from all latests packs BTS_DriverPacks_BASE_v5081.exe and DriverPack_MassStorage_v5073.7z) ALIIDE.SY_, MRAID35X.SY_ and NVRAID.SY_ are all present in I386 directory. TXTSETUP.zip
  15. I'm using PGP Desktop 6.5.8ckt build8, and these steps worked for me : 1/ run pgp658.exe 2/ it decompresses itself in user's profile temp dir 3/ copy files from user's profile temp dir, to another directory (new install dir), and stop current install 4/ go to the new directory, and run : setup.exe -r 5/ reply normaly to answers 6/ when install is done, go to c:\windows, and copy the file "setup.iss" to your install dir 7/ silent install is now : setup.exe -s
  16. Or this way via "setup.exe" : setup.exe /S /V"ISX_SERIALNUM=XXXXX-XXX-XXXXXX /qn"
