hy nuhi, to thank you again for this wonderful program. now the reports: I just saw the RC but I used beta 2, when I remove almost everything, I just keep the Aero and Recommended stuff and a few others the first problem I get is when rebuilding image, if I rebuild with all the tasks enabled (except the slipstream of course, I did that before and rebuilt) it stops in the middle of the rebuilding process (around 400MB). now if I rebuild one task at the time, it doesn't do that, and the image is ok in the end, any idea why is that? the second problem is, as I said, I remove everything but the 'Aero' and 'Recommended' and few other components. and when I install windows and I install the LAN drivers(, clean everything up with tuneup and ccleaner) it won't detect my LAN connection, do you know what is the problem? everything is with the slipstreamed service pack, I'll try it all again with the RC, just let me know if you need the last session files. thnx

(not that I'm rushing or anything) oh, and I'm getting two like strange screens before the dual boot choice-screen, it seems there are some errors there listed, can't read anything there cause they vanish too fast, are they normally there or is it due some error? thnx (and sorry for thread jacking dchard )

I didn't use the preactivated version (it was legal) but still it didn't skip the user creation, I mean, it did ask me for user name, not just gave me an option to log as an admin, though I typed everything in v-lite, any ideas?

I managed to install vista, got some weird error upon first boot, 'no cd sth', but it seems that that's ok, installed almost all programs, and it works great BUT the shut down/turn off button doesn't work, it just turns off my monitor instantly, and PC enters some kind of weird stand by, it seems to turn off the HDDs but that's it, the front HDD activity LED starts blinking and it stays there, have to push reset button to revive it again? anyone know if this is connected to v-lite, thnx EDIT: solved, google is your friend, just had to reinstall chipset drivers, this error is almost always caused by drivers, or absence of any

I used the V-lite program (only left the ultimate x version, added some drivers and so on...), saved everything, burned all those files that were left on a DVD, tried to boot from it, but when it says 'Boot from CD:' it just does nothing and goes to HDD, like there was no DVD in the DVD-ROM... here are the contents of the DVD, maybe you can tell me what am I missing that's needed to boot from it: please help if you know what's wrong, thnx EDIT: didn't make an ISO out of it, think that's the problem, will burn a new one and see
