I only got asked for c_20127.nls and app850.fon - could I stick those in the sysprep/i386 or do I need to stick all those files mentioned above in there? Or just change a path? a bit confused o_o
-
Ok so I made a new build and added in MMC3 since it wasn't in the last "perfect/finished" build - but I forgot to add my new ie7/mp11 regfile (attached) - should I add it as a runonceex or something? I did check the event log though on what was otherwise a "perfect build" ... and found a .net optimisation service error etc. I've attached the event logs for after the initial install and after I then sysprepped it and rebooted it and ran throught he minisetup. The minisetup asks where c_20127.nls and app850.fon are for some reason and I have to point them to the cd in i386. Anyone have a fix for that? :/ And anyone know about these event log errors? If not for them, It'd be perfect o_o EventLogErrors.zip IE7WMP11.reg

All sorted. All sweet. Now I need another week off to sleep! Late for work as usual now -.- But cd successful and burnt! I'm now contemplating how to make a few changes now provided my nLite, such as setting explorer to list my type not name. And something else I've forgotten. Should I make these reg entries set to runonceex regedit.exe /s regfile.reg?

I declare the following a complete success in 1 sweep of nLite integrating then 1 of boooggy wmp11 integrator The only MSupdates were root cert, .net 1.1, .net 3, silverlight. If I could stop the wmp11 "profile setup" thing running on first use that'd be nice but don't want to do the full boooggy twweak mode of setup rather than vanilla so nevermind. --- nLite E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\DirectX9.0cNovember2007AddOn0.3.4CNC.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Xable\xable-SP2-UpdatePack-February-v3.0.8a.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\Windows-KB909520-v1.000-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB896344-v2-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB904942-v2-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB914440-v12-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB920342-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB925876-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB936357-v2-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB938127-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB939653-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB944533-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Xable\xable_MicrosoftUpdateEngine-v1.1_addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Xable\xable_OUE-OGA-v1.6_addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Xable\xable_WGAN-v1.1_addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Xable\xable_AdobeFlashPlayer-v1.2_addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\RogueSpearAddonsDotNET20SP1.zip E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\NR_UPHC_Addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_7-Zip4.56b_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_CCleaner2.03.532_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_ToolTipFixer1.0.1_AddOn.rar ---Boooggy wmp11i wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe windowsmedia11-kb928788-x86-intl.exe|windowsmedia11-kb929399-v2-x86-intl.exe| windowsmedia11-kb929773-x86-intl.exe|windowsmedia11-kb932390-x86-intl.exe|windowsmedia11-kb933547-x86-intl.exe| windowsmedia11-kb935551-x86-intl.exe|windowsmedia11-kb935552-x86-intl.exe|windowsmedia11-kb939209-x86-intl.exe| WindowsMedia11-KB939683-x86-ENU.exe|windowsmedia11-kb942264-x86-intl.exe|windowsmedia11-kb943335-x86-intl.exe| windowsmedia11-kb944110-x86-intl.exe|windowsmedia11-kb944882-x86-intl.exe|WindowsXP-KB941569-x86-ENU.EXE I shall now apply all my hacks & tweaks n see how that goes overnight. Out of those I only want root cert I'll do wihtout and I now have to try and integrate .net 2 (since you can't integrate 3 and don't want to add the time it takes to install to every windows install as it's mostly not needed. Lets see how it goes

Latest build was as follows, and still only sfcfiles.dll in setuperr.log E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\DirectX9.0cNovember2007AddOn0.3.4CNC.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Xable\xable-SP2-UpdatePack-February-v3.0.8a.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\Windows-KB909520-v1.000-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsMedia9-KB891122-x86-Global-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB896344-v2-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB904942-v2-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB914440-v12-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB920342-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB925876-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB936357-v2-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB938127-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB939653-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB944533-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Xable\xable_AdobeFlashPlayer-v1.2_addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Xable\xable_MicrosoftUpdateEngine-v1.1_addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\NR_UPHC_Addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_7-Zip4.56b_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_CCleaner2.03.532_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_GenuineAdvantage_AddOn_71107.7z nLite rejected the WindowsMedia9-KB891122-x86-Global-ENU.exe saying "wrong version of windows" so I've removed that as I won't need it once wmp11 slipstreams in anyway probably. All looks good on this build, though : Msupdate needed to 'install' again despite using xable_MicrosoftUpdateEngine-v1.1_addon.cab WGAN was listed on msupdate despite using Ricks_GenuineAdvantage_AddOn_71107.7z. Also on msupdates was the optional root certificates and .net's etc. I'll try wmp11 added to this build now, and if that works, I'll add.net 2. Root certs I can't seem to find an update/addon to use :/ Not the end of the world, I don't expect to stay update free for over a month anyway but yaknow, perfectionism at work ...

So this morning's first test is good. The following worked with only sfcfiles.dll error logged E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\DirectX9.0cNovember2007AddOn0.3.4CNC.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Xable\xable-SP2-UpdatePack-February-v3.0.8a.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB938127-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB939653-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB944533-x86-ENU.exe It did have a list of updates to get though, which I've downloaded and will try adding to the next build also : 909520, 891122, 896344, 904942, 914440, 920342, 925876 - along with 936357 Now to try some addons, then try the wmp11 stuff, then finally everything x_x' Oh yeah, .net >_> Well ... there's no way to get 3 on without enlarging setup time by a lot using runonce, so Il'll perhaps integrate roguespear's .net 2 instead. Edit - despite the fact it was listed to download on MSU site on the last build, nlite just rejected integrating 891122 as it's "not for this windows version". Pretty sure I grabbed the right one, though it did call itself a wmp9 update not an xp update in the filename ...

Been looking through http://www.msfn.org/board/pluginocx-revisited-t107545.html etc and have updated my nlite to 1.4.1 from 1.4 and updated wmp11 slipstreamer to 0.99i from 0.96i Hopefully this might help things, and the plugin.ocx error I understand why it occurs now - I can ignore that safely since I don't want to hack anything just to avoid the error log mentioning it? Ok so now do I go back to trying update packs and if so, which. Xable is more uptodate so I'll try that I think, with dx9 addon, and with ie7 + 3 hotfixes (no need for IE7 addons instead then?). I'll see how that works tomor, but for now - sleep /zzz

Thanks for the response boogy - what is it for? Since I didn't integrate any WMP11 stuff or IE7 stuff. I just ran a build with just : E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\DirectX9.0cNovember2007AddOn0.3.4CNC.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB938127-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB939653-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7\IE7-WindowsXP-KB944533-x86-ENU.exe and it's all gone through fine, but now the sfcfiles.dll error is back. That's ok, I think that's just what you get for integrating IE7 in any way at all? Ok so ... now what ... do I use that build and shove in the RVM update back before IE7 in the list and see what errors I get/updates are needed? Do I use that build and shove in the Xable update back before IE7 in the list and see what errors I get/updates are needed? This is painstakingly close but feels so far, esp as I've run out of time in my week off to sort this >_< The fact the only errors are setuperr.log entries also means theoretically the "problems" I'm getting are irrelevant anyway and I coudl use these in production environments but ... I have to be safe not sorry :/ I still feel like I shouldn't be the only one wanting just dx9, ie7, wmp11 & updates uptodate - and that there should be a list somewhere of integration in nlite that will acheive this for me? So far I think the update packs are causing me the trouble/setuperr.log entries? :\
-
Thanks for the reply. My working install above gave msupdates for IE7 of kb938127 and kb944533. So maybe I don't need kb942615and maybe I don't need kb939653 either? Not sure. But then I tried the xable xpsp2 update pack for feb08 http://xable.net/forums/viewtopic.php?id=36 I've installed using just dx9 and xablepostsp2 and now I don't have the sfcfiles.dll error (cos I didn't integrate ie7?) but I do have this one again on its own :/ Setup could not register the OLE Control C:\WINDOWS\system32\plugin.ocx because of the following error: LoadLibraryreturned error 126(the specified module could not be found). Is that as ignorable as the sfcfiles.dll? I don't want to go ahead using the xable on if it's got an underlying issue there or something? I don't know what that plugin.ocx is used for or why integrating just DX9addon and xablepostsp2 would cause that error. Also msupdate then listed IE7 (obviously) along with WGAN (kb905474) and xp update (kb936357) to download. Strange as I just did the xable post sp2 updte pack? There's also stuff in 'optional' rather than 'critical' of course. Not sure what to do next :/
-
Ok so I just ran an install with just these, and the only setuperr.log error I got was the sfcfiles E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\DirectX_9.0c_November_2007_AddOn_0.3.2_-_CNC.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Unused\IE7-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7-WindowsXP-KB939653-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7-WindowsXP-KB942615-x86-ENU.exe So ... I guess now I try the other stuff until I get errors? Maybe. I'll also try to let it autoupdate and tell me what IE7 updates I need besides those 2. And maybe I'll try the xable "everything since sp2" feb08 update pack. Though it's an IE6 pack so doesn't include IE7 or any IE7 updates. Effectively I may need to do IE7 & it's updates manually, along with slipstreaming WMP11 & it's updates manually the boogy way. Is there no thread/page anywhere with an uptodate list/links for IE7/WMP11 and their updates?
-
Ok the results of that are (somewhat predictably) bad. Setuperr.log contains the following : Setup could not register the OLE Control C:\WINDOWS\system32\mshtml.dll because of the following error: GetProcAddress returned error 127 (the specified procedure could not be found). *** Setup could not register the OLE Control C:\WINDOWS\system32\msrating.dll because of the following error: GetProcAddress returned error 127 (the specified procedure could not be found). *** Setup could not register the OLE Control C:\WINDOWS\system32\inseng.dll because of the following error: GetProcAddress returned error 127 (the specified procedure could not be found). *** Setup could not register the OLE Control C:\WINDOWS\system32\plugin.ocx because of the following error: LoadLibraryreturned error 126(the specified module could not be found). *** Setup could not register the OLE Control C:\WINDOWS\system32\webcheck.dll because of the following error: GetProcAddress returned error 127 (the specified procedure could not be found). *** Setup could not register the OLE Control C:\WINDOWS\system32\imgutil.dll because of the following error: GetProcAddress returned error 127 (the specified procedure could not be found). *** Setup could not register the OLE Control C:\WINDOWS\system32\pngfilt.dll because of the following error: GetProcAddress returned error 127 (the specified procedure could not be found). *** Since people have working builds, I wish there was just links to files knwon to work ina certain order in nlite with clean setuperr.log so I could just use those. But it seems noone makes the same config builds, but I'd hope a standard one with IE7/DX9/WMP11 would be sorted by now, perhaps even just 1 big addon to make the necessary changes to apply or something nice? I just tried using clean XPSP2, then just the IE7 addon and the DX9 addon E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\DirectX_9.0c_November_2007_AddOn_0.3.2_-_CNC.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\NR_IE7en_Addon_1.0.6b_alt.7z I got exactly the same errors! Great I'll try going back to integrating IE7 directly and hotfixes for it? Unless there's an uptodate IE7 addon that works without error messages?

Some people say do IE7 first, some last, some say WMP11 first, some last >_>' I'll be happy anyway it works! I'm using virtualbox for my testing to install from cdrom (iso) not winnt32. Vbox is sweet cos it supports USB passthrough from your host PC. Also free and lite I just tried from my original XPSP2 source and sure enough, blank setuperr.log. So my WMP11 integration I've based all my builds off, despite apparently working fine, already gives those setuperr.log errors above. So now I'm just making a new build, from fresh XPSP2, wihtout WMP11 yet, but containing all this. I'll see how it goes. If it works out I'll boogy in WMP11 after. I'm feeling there's probably even more updates by now I need to include. Why won't XPSP3 go gold already! I just tried an install going right back to when I'd just integrated WMP11, and setuperr.log contains the following. I'm beginning to think setuperr.log is never empty, especially if you tweak the install with nlite etc. FTR I didn't tweak anything on this one, was back at basics, just integrating wmp11. I may just try even without that and see o_o Error: Setup detected that the system file named [c:\windows\apppatch\apph_sp.sdb] is not signed properly by Microsoft. Ok that finished installing and was identical to before - exactly the same thing - event lg system alerts me that setup had nonfatal erros check setuperr.log, and setuperr.log has the same errors in it. The only difference is autoupdate finds that IE7 hotfix aswell as the WGA and the MSRT. So I conclude the IE hotfix isn't the problem and is worth including. What now? :/
-
Yeah I've tried doing things in different orders, doing things with RVMI instead of all with nLite, and so on. But this is the most successful build I've had yet, done entirely with nLite (ignoring starting off with the WMP slipstreaming) in just 1 pass for integrations, 1 for tweaks, then 1 for the ISO. And the fact the machine installs fine and runs fine is just excellent. No disappearing windows update sheilds or anything I had on previous builds. Yet I find that hidden away in setuperr.log is my downfall So not clear yet! I'm just rebuilding again without that IE7 hotfix, see what difference it makes.
-
IE7-WindowsXP-KB942615-x86-ENU.exe is indeed just a hotfix, afaia, inwhichcase it's needed despite using the itengrated IE7 pack? Or am I wrong o_O And I started off wiht xpsp2 and WMP11 integrated which is why you didn't see it listed but I did mention I started with it Hmm ... ok so 1 error is safe, the rest ... not so Dammit I finally thought I'd made a usable build!
-
Looking at http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/updatepack.html it doesn't mention MMC3 being included? o.o And I've run IE7 on my virtualbox and it seems ok despite those errors you suggest are IE7 related. But I can't afford to push this cd out into production environment with those (relatively) hidden errors only to find IE7 falls over later or upon updating or something. Can anyone who knows about them put me out o fmy misery? I'm desperate to get a new working cd, my last one is july 2006 so there are lots of updates

Ok so I started again from XPSP2 with the boogy integrator and ran the following integrations [Hotfixes] E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\RVMUpdatePack2.1.11.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\RUPUpdates-2.1.11.13-Addon.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\MMC3 WindowsXP.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\DirectX_9.0c_November_2007_AddOn_0.3.2_-_CNC.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\NR_IE7en_Addon_1.0.6b_alt.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7-WindowsXP-KB942615-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB933729-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB937894-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB941202-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB941568-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB941569-x86-ENU.EXE E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB941644-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB942763-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB943460-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB943485-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB944653-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WMP11\WindowsMedia11-KB936782-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WMP11\WindowsMedia11-KB939683-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WMP11\windowsmedia11-kb929399-v2-x86-intl.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\NR_UPHC_Addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_7-Zip4.56b_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_CCleaner2.03.532_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_GenuineAdvantage_AddOn_71107.7z Then I ran my tweaks. (file attached) I installed off this and all is well, though winupdate shows another WGA addon to do along with the latest WMSRT, neither of which I can integrate if I'm correct? I gave up trying to integrate the tooltipfixer addon as it needed dotnet andI couldn't get that to work right. However, on the apparently working fresh install I checked the eventlog and found windows setup had encountered non-fatal errors. I checked the settuperr.log in c:\windows and it had this. Is any of this a problem? Is it all expected and ignorable? Ok so I started again from XPSP2 with the boogy integrator and ran the following integrations [Hotfixes] E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\RVMUpdatePack2.1.11.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\RUPUpdates-2.1.11.13-Addon.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\MMC3 WindowsXP.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\DirectX_9.0c_November_2007_AddOn_0.3.2_-_CNC.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\NR_IE7en_Addon_1.0.6b_alt.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\IE7-WindowsXP-KB942615-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB933729-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB937894-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB941202-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB941568-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB941569-x86-ENU.EXE E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB941644-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB942763-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB943460-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB943485-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB944653-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WMP11\WindowsMedia11-KB936782-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WMP11\WindowsMedia11-KB939683-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WMP11\windowsmedia11-kb929399-v2-x86-intl.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\NR_UPHC_Addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_7-Zip4.56b_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_CCleaner2.03.532_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_GenuineAdvantage_AddOn_71107.7z Then I ran my tweaks. (file attached) I installed off this and all is well, though winupdate shows another WGA addon to do along with the latest WMSRT, neither of which I can integrate if I'm correct? I think I'll try the same as last time but take out the dotnet's and the tooltip fixer that requires it and see what happens?
-
Aww it seems I've run out of ideas and stuff to get a working build
-
Any ideas? This is once again (effectively) a worse outcome than before, since now it can't even install windows I really want to finish this build before I end up making an sp3 one xD

Ok I tried what you said, I started with XPSP2 + WMP slipstreamed with no updates, then applied the following wiht nLite [Hotfixes] E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\RVMUpdatePack2.1.11.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\RUPUpdates-2.1.11.13-Addon.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\MMC3 WindowsXP.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\DirectX_9.0c_November_2007_AddOn_0.3.2_-_CNC.7z E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\IE7-WindowsXP-KB939653-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB933729-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB941202-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WindowsXP-KB943460-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WMP11\WindowsMedia11-KB939683-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WMP11\windowsmedia11-kb929399-v2-x86-intl.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Hotfixes\WMP11\WindowsMedia11-KB936782-x86-ENU.exe E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\RogueSpearAddonsDotNET11SP1.zip E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\RogueSpearAddonsDotNET20SP1.zip E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\ScriptPackAddonsdotNET35-Lite.zip E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\NR_UPHC_Addon.cab E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_7-Zip4.56b_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_CCleaner2.03.532_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_ToolTipFixer1.0.1_AddOn.rar E:\XPSP2Lite\Updates\Addons\Ricks_GenuineAdvantage_AddOn_71107.7z and then my tweaks (see attachment) and then I copied 010_dotNET35-Lite.exe into the cd in a subfolder called OEM, and put the following into nLite as a RunOnceEx command "\OEM\010_dotNET35-Lite.exe" I tried to reinstall using this build but now after copying files and rebooting the setup is on the lightblue screen saying windows is preparing to start or whatever it is, and then it reboots and tries again saying setupis restarting, but then it reboots again, and so on. Gah! What's wrong now Obviously I've messed that .net/addons stuff >< I put that ScriptPackAddonsdotNET35-Lite.zip into nLite as an addon since the inf file insde made it look like it would copy the file to the cd int he rightplace and perhaps make the RunOnce stuff automatically. But having checked the CD after the integrations before the tweaks and found it wasn't on the cd, I did it manually like I said just above :/ Edit - helps to attach my attachments ... Ok so where would I insert the following files which I think shuld fix my problem? o.o RogueSpearAddonsDotNET11SP1.zip RogueSpearAddonsDotNET20SP1.zip ScriptPackAddonsdotNET35-Lite.zip Do I add the first too into nLite as hotfixes & addons? And then manually extract 3.5 to a folder on the cd and make a RonOnceEx commandline to point to it in the nLite unattended part, or is there some was to haev this done automatically? I really hope the .net 3 doesn't take ages to install after that first reboot - it's the long install time that stopped me bothering including it before :/
