  1. Office painfully slow

    I had a similar problem. Office XP is very slow when I want to browse the drives. I finally found out that my problem was that I had a mapped network drive that was not available at that time. So when I deleted the mapped drive, things are back to normal. I found this out after re-installing drive C from back-up images MANY TIMES !!! Hope this posting will help many people save a lot of time and trouble. -Art
