I don't think Win98 (itself), works very will with partitions. I'm a bit worried with partition when i install Linux.

To my knowledge, u have to install iTunes and tell the iPod through that, thats it can be accessed from MyComputer or other applications. The default fro an iPod, is that it can only be accessed using iTunes

are you sure its system.dat & user.dat Dos is saying that thse files don't exist

I need your help!!! I now get this message pop-up during start, it won't allow me to load up Exlopre.exe!!!! "The Explore.exe file is linked to missing export USER32.DLL:GSM" Any ideas what to do. I have already tried system restore, which has not worked. I can't reinstall windows cause i don't have the disc.

What is the win2000 mod? The Win2000 mod is this. So you think maybe I should go for XP. I was considering that, but I want it to run fast.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm still not sure if i should upgrade. I'm very happy with 98 and its very secure and stable now (thanks to the Win2000 mod), but maybe I'm justed worried that 98 has no app support any more and 2000 does.

Hi, I'm using Win98SE atm with the Win2000 add-on mod. Its a 700MHz CPU with 256mb RAM. I thinking about upgrading to Win2000 since it is very stable and secure. Plus with all these apps stopping support of Win98, I'm wondering if you should upgrade or stay with 98 even though it does have the win2000 mod on it?

Is it possible to get a Search bar on every window like on Windows Vista. Is it an option on Win98 to get it on each window or is there an app you can download?

Hi, I have an intergrated Intel 4mb Graphics Chip. When i go on YouTube, when i watching the videos, the sound comes before the video and the video can be a bit slow and jerky. If I got a much better graphics card, would this fix the problem???

Hi, I'm new to this forum, and I have to say this is fantasic that there is still so much support for Win98. I use Win98 SE on my (Pentium Celeron 700mhz, 256mb ram) PC, I have been considering upgrading to XP. But after seeing all this, I forgot how great Win98 is. This community is very similar to the linux community. We all love our OS and we want it to live on. Long Live Win98!
