  1. I was thinking that, too. But there must still be a way of making the default scroll bars the same as XP style. Then when a web page specifies different colors, size, ect, that would be how it would look for that website ONLY. I'm no good with this stuff, but I do believe that anything is possible. If we can send a man to the moon, then why can't we change the default scroll bar in Internet Explorer!!!
  2. As mentioned in the thread, "Revolutions Pack 7 for Windows 98 SE" the new scroll bars made by Tihiy (which look very nice, I might add) don't apply to Internet Explorer, since that program draws its own scroll bars. My question is, how can we replace the program's default scroll bars with new ones? Can't it be done? Maybe Resource Hacker? Or some kind of method of getting IEXPLORE to point to custom made scroll bars, like the ones made by Tihiy? I would really like to find a way to replace the default scroll bars in Internet Explorer with the new ones.
  3. Okay, the updates did it! At first, I updated ALL critical updates, but then that messed up the configuration of RP7 by Thithy. Then I had to roll back and remove RP7. It's too bad because it was nice. But not really necessary. Now it's all good!
  4. I use IE6. However, I do not suscribe to Microsoft updates. But I never have! Facebook USED to work, but no longer does properly anymore. Do you think I need directX 9? Maybe I should get all the critical updates from Microsoft?
  5. Sorry if this seems a bit out of place for the forum, but my wife uses Facebook and she has noticed that it has been giving her increasing problems. Things such as links not working properly, constantly having to refresh a page to get it to work properly a second or maybe even a third time, and many other proplems. We've used Facebook on an XP computer and never have the same problems under the same account. Do any other Windows 98 users have problems with Facebook or other websites that apparently run fine on other computers?
