  1. Sounds as if it is time to reset the DHCP server, whether that be a server or router, and release/renew/reboot the machines.
  2. Not to ask a stupid question, but have you tried copying the script to the startup folder under your profile on the remote machine?
  3. Yes there is - kind of. I work for a large company and we run into this issue when users visit remote offices, and the laptop can communicate with the user's home server, where they sync their "Offline Files". The problem is, the laptop does not care if the WAN connection is only 128KB, so everything is VERY SLOW to open. Use the attached BAT file with the CSCCMD.EXE tool from the 2003 Resource Kit. By replacing the <SERVERNAME>\<USERS SHARE> in the BAT file to the correct network path that the user's Offline Files reside, you manually force the laptop offline, and it will not sync until the user MAUNALLY syncronizes their files. GoOffline.zip
  4. WannaXP, Thanks for the info! It looks like it will do just what I was looking for.
  5. Anyone out there know how to suppress a user's input for a variable in a batch file from displaying onscreen? Basically, I am writing a batch file that requires a user's password, and I do not want what they type to appear on screen. Even if I cannot supresss it, is there a way to mask it with "*******" instead? Thanks for your help!
