Hello, back from holiday. I think it is mpc problem. In MPC try to put .rm .ram .ra in Real Script File (see attachement) not to use RealMedia & RealAudio file(DirectShow) but RealMedia Is it working? If not can you give me sample of playback that doesn't work?

@ZileXa To localized the package, you need 5 files: 3 files from Windows XP SP2: dxmasf.dll msdxm.ocx strmdll.dll 2 files from WMP10Setup (Microsoft Setup) (in your language): wmploc.dll qasf.dll I don't khnow if this is the problem but you can try.

Hello everybody. I am back with updated version of codecs pack. [WM10 Stream & Codecs 2] are old version in German and french.

@jmbattle i am thinking on an unique setup for supporting multiple package (WM, QT, RM ...) and better customization. Conserning QTtask.exe, normally it must not start after reboot. will add control panel applet for QT @bucketbuster ffdshowLite support defaut video codec of full package I saw a small issue with ffdshow, i will see that @bucketbuster 1) you are right, but don't forget this is experimental parckage 2) I will update package with new version. 3) yes silently, just run setup New job, new home, no www at home for next 2 or 3 week. normally you should not have problem with wmv movie if it works in streaming.

wmploc should be deleted by nlite. This file is not in my nlite iso.

I think the best way is to keep a package for each codec so that we can install only what we need. I will release for me a package with wmv, ogg, real, mov and ffdshow. So i will also share it . @eben what error did you get? For MPC, i don't understand what you want to. Do you want an installer to put mpc as the default media player? In this case you only need mplayerc.exe, put it somewhere and run mplayerc.exe /regvid /regaud

same process but i register QTPlugin.ocx before copying QuickTime.qts in system32 In QuicktimeAlt and RealAlt there is all plugin for (Firefox, Opera, Mozilla and netscape) I don't know how to use it and which one you need. You probably need to put it in a special folder like for firefox. I don't think i will make a pack for each browser. It depends of where you install your browser. You should make a simple pack with all plugins you need (flash, quicktime, real, wmv...) and install it in the same time of your browser. But i can make a special pack without IE ActiveX support. (i don't know if it will work after, i can test) EDIT: for example msdxm.ocx is needed for firefox so...

@coch Your lite process to install quicktime codec works but i have 1 pb: If i copy and register QTPlugin.ocx with QuickTime.qts in the same folder, then the streaming doesn't work and a 0 byte QuickTime.qtp file is created. Did you notice this problem?
