when are you going to allow silent install cab's, or Program Addons, ala nLite? I would love to integrate Avast Home directly into Vista... help!

Yep, that was the problem. Maybe nLite could detect if diskeeper was running, and stop the service to do it's thing then restart it. It's never caused problems with any other program but this is a very low level task so I understand what happened. Or at least put a warning in a readme.

I think it has far more to do with a good firewall, firefox and NoScript and ABP extensions (and peerguardian in my case). I have done the same thing. It does run a little faster to, but you have to know what your doing so I would never recommend this on a computer with personal information on it. Do you do your banking on that setup ?

what does this mean, and how do I fix it? Running W2K SP4 with updates. My only thought is maybe disKeeper is defraging the file at that moment and so it can't get access... but I assume it would wait a second gracefully and try again. I don't know. I'll try it all again with DisKeeper off...

I would like to create a custom windows 2000 install that installs ZoneAlarm firewall on the first boot... can this be done and if so please tell me step by step as I am completely new to this whole concept and program
