    Goto Start/all programs/VistaCodecs Pick 32bit tools Pick vobsub Find the Misc tab and tick 'hide subtitles' That removes them for me.

    It's a known problem with some routers and Vista. Netgear have recently updated the firmware on some of their routers to fix the problem, maybe updating the firmware on your router will fix this isssue too?
