changing audio and subtitle in mkv

Featured Replies

Hello

i am quite new here and i have the following issue.

I have a vista media center (home premium) with only the latest vista codec pack (5.05).

Within vista media center i can play MKV files just fine but i can NOT chane the language or subtitles. When i play the same MKV file in wmp11 i can change both and although i have set the right defaults in wmp11 for audio and subtitle an other language and subtitle is played when using the file in vista media center.

How can i change it within VMC??

and if this is not possible how can i change the default settings???

gr

Goto Start/all programs/VistaCodecs

Pick 32bit tools

Pick vobsub

Find the Misc tab and tick 'hide subtitles'

That removes them for me. :thumbup
