@nuhi, Thanks for the reply! I think it may be the display drivers. Never thought about that. What is DWM, and how to check if it's running? I will reply back after I install the display drivers

@anonymous user, Thanks for the reply. I did check that box in the compatbility window. And I am able to use Aero when I do a full install. But after I use vLite, and go to Control Panel > Personalization. The option is gone? :( Not sure what is going wrong

All I want is Vista Ultimate with just about everything else removed! Now, what must I leave unchecked to be able to get aero glass effect? (As with Full OEM install) I have tried about 10 times to get just a basic Ultimate + aero Can't seem to get it, PLEASE help Thanks in advance, and for all the work! Doc

I read somewhere you need to keep tablet installed! Not sure why Hope that helps.

I finally got vLite to work without a hitch! Turns out it was the OS. I was running some cut version of XP. Installed full version of vista and BOOM it worked :thumbup (Version 1.0 beta). Thanks nuhi, sorry to waste your time! Won't be using that version of xp again D

Thanks nihi, I used a Win Vista OEM DVD and I just clicked on ultimate when it asked what version you want to work with! Seems like I did everything corrrect. ******I even just ran vista through the program and did not delete or change any settings! :angry: ******* I cant understand why it would not boot from just running it through vLite. Any insight?

hello, thanks to all who make this program possible. Now, I have a problem that I cannot fix. Everytime I run vlite and I get a .iso file, it will not boot! :angrym: I burn it as a boot disk! It starts to boot and I get this error \Boot\BCD I have a screen shot of the error attached. Please have a look and help. Thanks in advance for the help! Doc
