I use my local college and they also don't have cd or cdrw but what I do is upload my documents etc to the net. I have a couple of free sites which host files for me (actually anyone can join) Then from home I can access my uploaded files. Most colleges these days have always-on net access and even the humblest home systems have net access too. Still, the floppy ain't dead yet.

Come to think of it... ...can't remember when I used my floppy last! Usually Zip drive or burn, burn,burn:D
