I tried to create a UDF image from a image I have from Acronis true image because it is too large for a dvd, here is what I did CODE CLS @echo off TITLE Creating ISO Image of Miscrosoft Windows Vista ECHO. ECHO You image is now being created. Make sure oscdimg.exe is present. ECHO. ECHO Creating your ISO... oscdimg -n –m -u -u1 -u2 -bc:\boot.img e:\Mybackup\ c:\myvista ECHO PAUSE EXIT It did nothing when I launched it, I placed the oscdimg.exe in the C:\Windows\System32 My back up is in Drive E and I placed a folder with the name myvista in the C drive to store what image was created, Where did I go wrong ?

where do you place cdimage.exe at? what folder do you extract it to??

Is it possible to do what I am asking? I do not want to do a unattended install, just a safe gard if something goes wrong

I am trying to make a image of my hard drive with Vista Ultima installed and everything I have added since then, and want to burn it to a dvd so if it crashes I can reload it, I have tried reading some of the posts but they are out of my realm of understanding at the stage I am at: Any easy to understand instructions would be greatly appreciated. Hi and good wishes to all I wish some day I can do what you all can but for now I am just a lowly newbie I am interested in making a unattended dvd with windows vista or xp, I am using winrar and have downloaded 7z but when I archive them it still comes out in winrar format ??? I am also looking for the begginers part for anattended instructions, can someone lead me there / thanks I have downloaded vlite and made a copy of the cd to my desktop.....
