  1. Hi, you can check it via regedit. In HEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/NET Framework Setup/NDP you can see the versions you've installed. Tell us if it worked! Ricardo

    missing msvcr71.dll

Hi! I built an Windows XP ISO and installed Azureus using rado354's addon. When I try to run the application it says that it can't start JVM because the library msvcr71.dll is missing. I guess this is a library that should be in C:\WINDOWS\system32, but it isn't there. Is there any option in nLite that deletes this library? Thanks! Ricardo
  3. I solved this problem just yesterday . I don't know if my solution will be useful for you... Kiki Brugh told me about "Silent Net Maker". With this script you create three exe files (for 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0 including updates and language packs). You can build the addons for 1.1 and 2.0 with nlaom and install 3.0 with RunOnce. 3.0 returns some error msgbox while installing if you install it as an addon . Ricardo
  4. Very interesting Kiki. I built the silent installers for .Net Framework 1.1 2.0 and 3.0 and worked fine. I build an addon for each of them with nlaom and it almost works. I got two error messages when installing 3.0, although the installation finish ok (it seems that, but who knows?). It gave me an idea to build the addon: using a *.cmd file for the installation with the silent switches and nircmd to hide the command window. I'm quite newbie, so I don't know if it really makes sense... I'm working on that now. A question: ¿which is the difference between installing dotnetfx3setup.exe (2.80 MB) and dotnetfx3.exe (50.3 MB)? Thanks for your help! Ricardo
  5. Hi! I'm trying to create an addon for .Net Framework 3.0. I've been reading in the forum how to do that and I though I found out how to do it, and it seems not to be very difficult... but I didn't get it I read in this post that with "dotnet3setup.exe /q /norestart" I get a silent installation. Then I thought I only had to create a .CAB file, for example with "nLite Add-On Maker", specifying the installation file "dotnet3setup.exe" with the commands for a silent installation "/q /norestart". Well, it doesn't work... Does anybody know where is my mistake? Another question about .Net Framework 3.0. Are the updates for .Net Framework 2.0 (KB917283 and KB922770) included in .Net Framework 3.0 ? Thanks! Ricardo
  6. Hi! First of all thanks for share with us all your addons! I'm using some of them and they work nice! However I'm having some problems with one of them. I integrate Azureus as well as Java Runtime Environment 6.0 (http://www.winaddons.com/java-runtime-environment-60/) with nLite. When I install Windows XP both of them seem to be properly installed. But when I run Azureus, I get a messagebox saying it can't find "msvcr71.dll". If a copy this dll form the Java install directory to the Azureus install directory it works. Do you know where the problem is? Thanks! Ricardo
  7. Hi! I'm using Windows XP in Spanish, and I'm looking for and addon for Framework 1.1+2.0+3.0. I didn't find a Spanish one, but a German one (http://sereby.german-nlite.de/index.php?cat=addons#NETFW). Can I use it or should it be in Spanish? Thanks! Ricardo.
  8. Hi! I'm preparing my first personalized Windows XP CD with nLite (RC2). I'm trying to integrate SP2 and some hotfixes (for Spanish Windows XP) I downloaded with Windows Updates Downloader 2.25 and some addons (Firefox, Thunderbird, Daemon Tools, Windows Messenger, Unlocker, Azuereus, eMule, Foxit PDF Reader, IrfanView). Everything seems to work because all this stuff appears in the folder \I386\SVCPACK\. However, I installed it using VMware and none of the addons were installed. I checked in add/remove programs and only 4 hotfixes were installed. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! Ricardo
