  1. Install hangs on starting windows

    I've tried using nlite for the first time today to create and XP SP3 cd, unfortunately the install is hanging when it says "setup is starting windows". I'm using Virtual Machine to test it, but assume this won't be anything to do with it. Any idea what it could be? Do I need to add the extras in any order? I did wonder if it was having probs with the SATA drivers, so I tried it using the F6 option. However it still hangs For ref I've tried to include: original source XP Pro SP1 Drivers: VIA 4in1 VIA SATA AMD C&Q Forceware Creative GigEthernet 64 bit patch Dual core fix MS Updates: SP2 RyanVM update pack WMP 11 DX9c (dec) Apps: FireFox 2.01 MSN live Tweak ui Last_Session.ini

    Yeah I noticed it somewhere in there (only used it for the first time today). Edit: It was on the page where you create extra user account iirc

    You can disable the password expiring by: Control Panel>admin tools>Computer Management>Users>right click your ID, properties>Tick Password Never expires
