    I installed the above update on my Compaq 7380 DMT running Windows 98SE. It placed a A: Floppy disk and D: Removable disk on my Windows Explorer. sometime they work and sometimes they don't. I removed the upgrade but these drives won't go away. When I run in "Safe Mode" everything behaves properly and these drives are not hard coded in Windows Exporer. They are both removable drives and I want them to leave when they are not in the system. Can anyone help direct me to what I need to change? Thank in advance.

    I am new to this site, obviously. I am an old guy pushing 63. I guess that is OK because I'm still pushing and started with computers in 1975. I look forward to meeting some of you as we move on.
