  1. I use FF, as it's the only browser on my PC. Internet Explorer is gone .... forever.
  2. Windows XP Media Center Edition for me. It's a custom build though. Thank God for NLite!
  3. I installed Firefox. However I can't seem to download Flash Player.... even through that. edit: It's taken care of. I got it to work!
  4. hello, I managed to install Windows XP SP2 using NLite without having Internet Explorer on my PC. Is there a way I can get Adobe Flash Player installed? Or do I need to use someone else's PC, download the file, and save it onto a CD and go from there? Help, Jesse
  5. I use Norton Internet Security 2007. It is NOT a resource hog and does NOT slow down my laptop.
  6. I say Windows XP MCE. I use it and it's awesome!
  7. Agreed. You can't stop getting the updates for the old version of Windows Media Player. As annoying it is, we just have to live with it.

hello friends, I am pleased I found a site that is devoted to Microsoft product support. It seems in the past other computing sites I have gone to have been about linux or anti-microsoft. Those sites didn't help me much. So, allow me to introduce myself: I am BassettHound. My hobbies include the following: Writing, Cooking, Reading, Friends, Church, Computing, Food, Music, Palentology, Heurmentics, Church History, Archeology, Biology, & Family Hope to see you around!
