  1. Works like a charme, thanks a lot guys.
  2. Hmm allright. I think you have two choices. 1. Make a new DvD form scratch in which you manually add all drivers/apps/tweaks/etc. Check out the unattended guide for that: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/ or 2. Use your OEM cd and install Realtek driver afterwards.
  3. Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestion, but it doesn't work here. It display's an error message: "Windows cannot log in because of account restrictions" (or something like this, I translated from Dutch)

  5. I think your problem occurs because the Realtek drivers aren't WHQL certified. In normal procedure you click "ignore", but during Unattended install it refuses to install the driver. I am not sure how you made the unattended cd. Did you integrate drivers yourself or did you use the oem cd? BTW: I used this guide to get the install of Realtek AC97 audio right: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=12566&st=0
  6. Hi there, I made an XP Home unattended DVD and I ran in to some problems regarding the users. What I want is to just use the Administrator account and to automatically log in. The thing is XP Home creates an "Eigenaar" account (Dutch for Owner). So all my config files etc fail because they point to the "Administrator" account. I tried deleting the "Eigenaar account", and that works but now I can't log in at all, there are just no users when I normally boot. Of course I can log in safe mode and do the job, but I need it to be unatteded. How do I get the normal User behaviour (like XP Pro)?
  7. Hi SRJ, Thanks for your reply. I've been trying to integrate using the WatchDriverSigningPolicy.exe file, but no succes. I did the following: 1) Run regkey: [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Driver Signing] "Policy"=dword:00000000 2) Run WatchDriverSigningPolicy.exe (for making sure windows doesn´t turn back the regvalue) 3) Run silent install realtek driver I tried doing this in normal XP mode (not runonceex), if it works in runonceex it should work in normal XP I guess. Result is still popping up the box for unsigned drivers. How exactly are you performing the installation?
  8. I tried this, but it doesn`t work. The strangest thing is, when I don`t use the log option, it does install (but not in runonceex). If I do use the log option it doesn´t install. But I am still not sure if it installs the driver, because its not digitally signed. I think it only installs the program.
  9. I think You're right. I went to system/hardware there I can check the option to allways ignore unsigned policies. I just can´t find the regtweak for it. Do you think you can find it? Or do you have an idea where to look? Thanks.
  10. Hi, I can´t seem to manage to install the Realtek AC97 audio drivers A3.98. It´s a Installshield installer, but I think it has something to do with the drivers not being WHQL. Is there a way to bypass the security messages?
  11. I found out it probably has to do something with the not-WHQL sertified drivers. I found the new drivers from nvidia who are WHQL sertified, but I am not sure how to integrate them. I use PATA raid, do I have to integrate the SATA-IDE folder (without txtsetup.oem?) or the SATA folder?
  12. Hi there! I thought I finally finshed my slipstream, but apparently not. I installed Windows, no problem but after the last minute of finilizing installation it reboots and it doesn't start. It says something like: "Windows cannot boot because of a problem in the drives configuration" I think it has something to do with the raid driver I included. THe raid driver just works before chosing a partition, but maybe it didn't integrate it in the windows installation. THe bootloader shows 2 operating systems, because it sees 2 disks? I really hope someone can help. greetz
  13. Solved the problem, I forgot to do the makecab thing. One problem remains; windows calls the sata disk C:, and the 2 raid partitions D: and E:. I want windows to be C:, but in windows I can't change the drive letter. I also tried a regtweak, it doesn't work either. How can I get windows to be C:? Last question; I connected the 2 pata disks to 1 IDE port. Is this ok, or is it better to devide them in 2 ports? Thanks again!
  14. Hi there! I am trying to integrate the drivers of my raid array into my windows slipstream. I followed the unattended guide and that worked fine I guess. Too bad I can't test the raid driver in a virtual machine. Anyway, I booted the dvd and there was a strange disk list in the windows partition manager. This is my disk config: 2x 80gb PATA (devided in 2 partions 1: 10gb 2: 150gb) 1x 200gb SATA disk (1 partition) Windows displays the following: Disk 1: 80gb - partion 1: 10gb - 150 gb unpartioned space Disk 2 : 80 gb - 80 gb unpartioned space Disk 3: unknown disk (have seen this one before, I think its the card reader) When I boot normally, with the F6 button and the drivers it works fine, it displays the correct disks. Did I do something wrong while integrating? Can I just install windows or will that cause problems? Thanks!
  15. Thanks a lot, gonna try it out.
  16. @Neo: you mean RunOnceEx? That one happens before the customization of settings. @cumminbk: the items in startup folder starts everytime windows starts right? Do you delete it afterwards? Can one insert a command line to delete itself?
  17. Hi. Is it possible to execute a batch file after complete logon? Windows says stuff like "personalising settings" and than it creates all kinds of anoying shortcuts I which to remove after this process.
  18. Yup, you're right. I solved the problem using this file: http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?...p;highlight=net Someone in that post suggested it, works perfect for me. Dotnet is a real pain in the ***. Thanks anyway for all support.
  19. I think I might have the incorrect file. The methods don't work for me. Mine is called dotnetredist.exe. I can't find the dotnetfx file anywhere, unless you all renamed it?? I can only find version 1.0a on the official microsoft website. Maybe that's the problem.
  20. Can nobody help?
  21. Hi, I am trying to install dotnet 1.0 and dotnet 1sp3. I run a batch file from cmdlines.txt. I use the following lines: cmdow @ /HID SetLocal enableextensions SET CDROM=%~d0 start /wait %CDROM%\Apps\dotnet1\install.exe /Q start /wait %CDROM%\Apps\dotnet1sp3\KB867461.exe /Q start /wait rundll32 setupapi.dll,InstallHinfSection Freestyle 128 medctroc.inf ENDLOCAL EXIT (it's for installing Media center on XP). The problem is dotnet just won't install. During installation an error occurs which I believe is coming from KB867461.exe that it can't install because dotnet 1 hasn't been found. If I repeat the process from local hard disk, it installs just fine. (using the exact same code). Hope one can help. Greetz
  22. Hi again, I've been experimenting a little, I tried using dotnet 2.0 in stead of 1.0 and 1.3 update. This doesn't seem to work. During installation an error occurs, though it installs everything ok. Is it possible to use dotnet 2.0? I like that one better. And by the way, is it also possible to install dotnet in rononceex in stead of a different cmd? Greetz.
  23. Simply genious. Works perfectly, thanks a lot!
  24. Hello there! I tried including Media Center in XP, but it won't work. I followed the guide of this topic: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...1070&st=135 (13th post) But I can't seem to manage to install in proporly. I get the following message when I try to open Media Center: "Media Center only works on Windows Media Center Edition" I think it has something to do with editing "winbrand.dll" with a program called "resourse hacker". I have the program and opened winbrand.dll (extracted from winbrand.dl_ with winrar) But I don't know what to do with it or where to save it? Can someone help? Thanks a lot.
  25. Hi there! Does anyone know how to exclude the plus! programs in MCE? Like windows dancer, party mode, and all other crap like that? When I delete the plus.cab and the sonic.cab file in the cmpnents folder it seems to skip these programs, but than it also doesn't seem to install internet explorer. Strange isn't it? The rest just works fine. Greetz.
