Well, as far as I know it happens mostly because of some driver. In my case they were nividia drivers. So I adopted laptop2video nividia drivers and startup is faster. I hope it hellps

I have a HP laptop with vista home premium. I want to do a clean reinstall, I know that I vista dvd has all versions in it but the question that I want to ask is that, can msdn vista Image sp1 integrated accept OEM key. If I want to put my activation certificate, then where in dvd folder should put it? I have backedup my key and certificate with the help of utility given at notebookreview.com.

ok the problem is unattended i made unattended(fully automated) one it gives above problem but if i dont make unattend just add addons it works fine can anyone tell me the solution

i have used nlite to make cd earlier but having a problem now i have integrated internet explorer and wmp 11 and when i login the window first time none of them is there and some addons are also missing i think problem is created with niite can some one guess what is problem when i go to add remove windows component and uncheck and recheck them windows media player and internet explorer are appeared but other addons like sidebar and winrar there shortcuts are then created but in prgram files they are missing can someone help me out here

klmcp.ini shows [setup] Dir=C:\Program Files\K-Lite Codec Pack Group=K-Lite Codec Pack NoIcons=0 i am a noob here can u tell me how to change c: to default windows directory i mean it should not matter if windows is installed in d: it should install in D:\Program Files\K-Lite Codec Pack rather than C:\Program Files\K-Lite Codec Pack i tried to replace c: with %systemdrive% but it doest work

i wanted to share how to remove this bug as i got it removed. actually u dont have to put the integrator in such a directory that space or some character comes i put it in c:\ it work but if u put in some directory c:\hello hi\ it would not work rather give error it is stated in there forms

has anyone made Vista transformation pack by WindowsX addon can some one make it??

i applied the pack but it deletes some files may be a bug there like syssetub.dll so has some one made Vtp6's addon pack of tell me how to decompress files and recompress there must be a way as does his installer do kindly help me out

i know that i can use reshacker or resonator or anyothe thing like that but where are files in i386 there was a file SHELL32.DL_ i thought it would be shell32.dll and i renamed it and tried to open in both above mention programs but both saying not valid win32 file cant open other than vtp i am asking where are system32 files place in i386 folder how to extract them and after modding replace them????

hi i am a noob i am trying to make an unattended cd but after integrating addons and updates with nlite when i apply VTP6 i files some files are gone and unattended thing is not workin firstly has anyone made Vista transformation pack addon which is by windowsX secondly i now manually want to edit shell32.dll and some other files with resource hacker how to do it where to find them in i386 folder and to extract and repack it thank you
