TNX all @Gee: I tested yr method on 2 PC's, i could disable the WGA in "Manage Add-Ons" BUT can't get it writen in the registry. @Nilfred: Saved it as WGA.reg and launched it... I've have a small (4 computers) network and I want share files and printers between themselves. To do that, I run for each computer the "Network Setup Wizard", at the end of that wizard i select/click "Trun On file and printer sharing". Otherwise I"m not able/allowed to share anything. 2. I've downloaded KB892130 ,extracted LegitCheckControl.msi and installed (launched) LegitCheckControl.msi I checked my registry entry as recommended by RogueSpear [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{17492023-C23A-453E-A040-C7C580BBF700}] "oldFlags"=dword:00000000 "Compatibility Flags"=dword:00000400I can't find {17492023-C23A-453E-A040-C7C580BBF700} key. Then I tested the second method 1.download LegitCheckControl.cab 2.extract LegitCheckControl.cab you will get LegitCheckControl.dll & GWFSPIDGen.dll & LegitCheckControl.inf 3.add LegitCheckControl.dll & GWFSPIDGen.dll into C:\WINDOWS\System32\ 4.regsvr32.exe /S C:\WINDOWS\system32\LegitCheckControl.dll I checked again my registry entry ... No chance to find {17492023-C23A-453E-A040-C7C580BBF700} key. Hi, My post above continuation... I just noticed in addition to the extra files mentioned, i have 5 extra folders (see image above) \I386_original, \KB888111, \M1, \M1\I386_original, \M1\KB888111. Hi, I just used the DriverPacks BASE V5.07.7 version and The latest driver pack too (all downloaded today). I followed the instructions and the slipstream method 1 works fine... HOPE SO!!! I'm surprised this latest version add extra files in the root of my slipstreamed UWXPCD (cmdlines_fix.exe, Fedit.exe, Filecase.exe, OemPnPDriversPath.cmd, RUN_ME.cmd, slipstream_DPM.cmd, sysfiles_M1.cmd - see enclosed image). It wasn't the case with the precedent version. Does my slipstreming driver packs goes fine??? What does these files do??? Do i have to keep them??? Regards coucou
