  1. @johnhc: OK! all stuff deleted and files attached @-X-: Many TNX. Is there anything more to do with nLite? In fact, until now i used almost same .sif and .ini files with WinXP SP2 without problem. This problem appear since i used SP3 and IE8 integrated with RVMI 1.6 and tweaked by nLite. Regards coucou
  2. Hi, I have a fairly DVD unattended WinXP Pro SP3. It is supposed to install Windows XP SP3 fully unattended, then reboot and process a WPI for softwares installation. All is fine and dandy except for the welcome screen. Although I've set "OemSkipWelcome=1" in my Winnt.sif file, for some reason, I am having to configure the auto updates, internet connection settings, and microsoft registration (input a user name for one or more users? -the screen has a set of 5 boxes to input names, with the first one being labeled "Your Name."), then WPI runs for installing the softwares. Here bellow my Winnt.sif, Last Session.ini and Last Session_u.ini files attachements Do I forgot any tweak in nLite configuration? coucou

  7. Glad to hear my proccess works . I'm working with this process for a long time. I'm sure that it should works with software using setup.exe + xxx.ini xxx.and msi files. Indeed, I've tested it working with all Cyberlink softwares. Regarding Office 2007, I'm still using Office 2003. I've Slipstremed Office 2003 by shrinking it first with Super guide with a detailed of Office 2K3 Shrinking then I used Office Integrator. Office Integrator can be used by Office 2007 too. Good luck coucou
  8. Hi all Here my contribution Since while I find I red info's at Symantec site of the how to silent install. The file concerned are setup.ini and setAid.ini. Since I made the modificatio, everything works like a charm. Setup.ini before [startup] CmdLine=/l*v "%TEMP%\SEP_INST.LOG" after [startup] CmdLine=/qb RUNLIVEUPDATE=0 REBOOT=REALLYSUPPRESS setAid.ini Add the here bottom lines PREDEFINED_SMC_CONFIG] ; User configureable options UIRebootMode=3 [LU_CONFIG] CONNECT_LU_SERVER=0That's it... Now, just run setup.exe It will be installed silently. You can also make an installer with 7zip (it be compressed to 1 file of 72MB) http://7zsfx.solta.ru/en/ Tutorial http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=1978 Video tutorial http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4659 Good luck coucou

  11. Hi, I'm using WinXP Pro and WPI 6.2 since while, and everything worked like a charm. Today, I undertaked to update my installed progs and the wpi config.js file obviously. Time to time I lauched WPI to verify that everything works. Suddenly by launching wpi.hta, I got a Runtime error (see here/image bellow) A Runtime error has occurred Do you wish to debug? Line: 39 Error: 'bit64' is undefinedBy clicking [No], Igot JavaScript Error (see here/image bellow) JavaScript Error Report Message 'configs[...].0' is nul or not an object URL:file:///F:/XPCD_SP2/Software/WPI/WPI.hta File: check.js Function: check0 Line: 215By clicking [OK], WPI start but config.js NOT loaded. As i have a copies/backup of that WPI, on other drives in the same computer I tested them... same problem... can't get ride from those errors. Then I made a copy of that WPI (with errors) to a second computer and run it... it works like a charm. Anyone can help how to get ride from those errors? Regards coucou
