nope no PCI express slot either........the game is just a brickout style....it's Richochet/rebound.... I have been getting alot of different answers...........some say it will bottle neck others say it will work fine

Bought a Dell 3000 for my wife.....and realized after I received it that the video card is built into the MB.....in other words it has no AGP slot on the MB. My wife's favorite game is glitchy on this computer so I want you smart peoples to tell me this....if I purchased a PCI video card for this Dell would it work or not ???

I was trying to install a game and then an MS application and when I type echo %userprofile%\recent in the command prompt it says Windows Cannot find blah blah blah

tried to install a couple of programs..... all of the sudden I get the below screen with the 1606 error on it.......any help ??? I Googled it but did not find anything that helped it.

I am desperateley in need of some help....I suddenly started having a window pop up on my computer it says Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Assertion failed... Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe File: .\lists.cpp Line: 480 Expression: !(p==bodykwerf.end0) For information on how your program can cause an assertion failure....blah blah blah... I have checked all the documentation I can find...contacted numerous techy sites and nobody had been able to help me with this. I installed a pop up blocker and then this started happening. I uninstalled the popup program, but it's still doing it...... ANY help or reference woule be deeply appreciated. Jim

when i bootup my computer I get the following screen......I'm not sure what has happened. I can puish retry and it goes away....until I open up IE. I do not use IE I use Firefox as my browser but this screen shows up whenever I reboot.....I have done the IE fix but it's still doing it...any help ??

I tried to do a clean install.....enetered BIOS and set it to boot from the cdrom.......still gave me the hardware lockup

you'll notice in my post I tried to get rid of ME....but when attempting to install XP it froze up on the hardware update evertime

Niece called me....said she was trying to load her Olympus camera pictures onto her computer and the computer got to where it was "Updating Hardware Information Database" and it froze at 18% and when I went to the windows task manager it said the program was not responding. It's an ME system so I attempted to upgrade it to XP Pro and it got stuck on the hardware information and froze too. It's a noname computer with 800 Whz Pentium processor and an Intel MB........256 MB RAM. She got this computer from her MIL and has never had anything plugged into the USB ports until she tried the camera. I also tried plugging my mini harddrive into the usb and got the same message and had to end task on it. I don't really think it's the USb........I think it's the MB...what do you all think.... any information would be appreciated Thanks Jim

Got a D-link router been using it for about a year....all of the sudden when I try to send emails I get "Cannot connect to server".... called my ISP we did all kinds of tests......they said it was not on their end. So I decided to connect my cable directly from my cable modem to the computer...and wahlah.....I can now send email. Does this mean my router is shot or did some settings get messed up some how ??

Win XP machine......somehow my application startup got messed up...everytime I click on an icon Real Player pops open.....no matter what icon I click on Real player starts..... I can't even go to a restore point becuz when I click on system restore....REAL player pops open....any help would be appreciated.....how do I change this back to where it is supposed to be ?>>

Just got a Seagate 80GB hard drive......going to use it as an external drive. I connected it to my enclosure and it shows up in Device manager but does not show up on My Computer........what am I doing wrong.... I have other external drives that work just fine. Is there something about the jumpers I need to change ??? Win XP Pro

Well...here we go.....I've got a big blank gap between installed programs on my computer....in other words...it will show the first 25 programs....and the you have to scroll WAY down to see the rest of them.......any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I have looked through MS Kb articles and cannot seem to kind any help on this. Windows XP Pro/2.4 Ghz/756 RAM/Cable broadband

I ordered a hard drive (Western Digital, 40GB) so I could put it in an external case to use to store my MP3's and what not. I got it in the case, all contected up but when I plug in the USB one little icon pops up on my tool bar down by the time....but then it disapeers.... and it is not showing the hard drive in devices and removable storage. What did I do wrong and what do I need to do to make this work correctly ?? Computer runnin' XP pro.

When my add/remove programs window is open there are about 20 programs listed.....then a BIG blank space and then the rest of the programs are there too....I have to scroll down several inches too see the programs on the bottom....any help ??
