  1. Did you create your winnt.sif through the Setup Manager? You should be able to set it up that way. It should produce a bit of code in the unattend.txt (which you can rename to winnt.sif) that looks like this: [RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=12,1 Language=0000040d As far as burning through CDs... I went and bought some CD-RWs today, that's cut down on my CD burnage, despite the relative cheapness of CD-Rs. Also, I've been testing my installs on VirtualPC (some prefer VMWare, although I have yet to get that to work...), which only gets me so far before testing on the real thing... Let me know if that works. You may also want to do a google search for the RegionalSettings LanguageGroup and Language codes or numerical values. Should turn up what you want. -Brock
  2. Hi there! I'm working on a project to slipstream the post SP4 hotfixes into a win2k with SP4. I've gotten the Service Pack installed with no problem, but the hotfixes are driving me mad! Well, insane, mostly. Are there any good references on the switches used and files transfered around? I understand the technical procedure of it all as far as extracting the EXE and pulling the unique files out. However, I can't get the hotfixes to be recognized by Windows. When I go to Windows Update the fixes are showing up in the critical updates. Just looking for some solid information because there seems to be a whole lot of misc. jumble type info out there. I also need to be able to document this for use in the department in the future. So the less automatic and the more repeatable the process the better... Thanks! -Brock Buss
