  1. Holy crips; I looked all over for that thing and never did find it. Thanks you so much. Dyann
  2. I'm using Office 2007 Beta and it's great. I'm only having one small annoying problem. When I open OutLook a message boxs comes up every time and wants me to download Instant Search but when I click on it it brings me to Microsoft Updates of course with the following message: The download you requested is unavailable. If you continue to see this message when trying to access this download, go to the "Search for a Download" area on the Download Center home page. Bottom Line I could care less about instant search; I'd just like to get rid of the message box? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dyann
  3. Holy Mother of Mary I just downloaded Dial a Fix and everything is now fixed; I cannot believe it. I can now browse every where without problems. Microsoft updates page everything. Thank you all sooooooooooooooooooo much. I can even use Clickable Smiles yippie skippie.....................
  4. Never heard of dial a fix? What is and where can I access it. I'm willing to try anything
  5. I set everything to default and still have the problem. I just tried to go to McAfee and redownload a product that I purchase and lost after installing a brand new HD and the buttons do not work to download, e-mail them for help. I cannot get to the Windows updates page; it's blank. I'm at a loss here don't know what to do. I've tried to uninstall IE7 and install IE6 but even after uninstalling of IE7, 6 tells me 7 is still on and cannot complete install. So I reinstalled IE7. This really bites; I'm so frustrated. Dyann If any one has any ideas please help. I've used Registry Smart, AdwareAlert; Spyware Doctore and my system is clean.

    Hello

I'm new to this forum and since it said this was the spot to introduce myself I did not want to burden any one with details. I'm using IE7 as you all already know and when I first bring up the browser I have bright blue MSN screen with no text at all and the address bar says something to the effect of "runonce". That's one problem. I cannot get into a lot of sites Microsoft is one of them and pages do not load properly; the entire text is all on one side of the screen and buttons do not work when I click them; as in to send a resume for one example; anther example is "Clickable Smilies" in this forum I click and nothing happens. I have uninstalled IE7 and re-installed but it does not help. What else would you like to know that might help? Thanks, Dyann
  7. I copy and pasted the far below from your site: Let me know if this is what I'm suppose to do. Go into my registry Click on: HKEY_CURRENT_USER Click on : Software (folder) Click on: Microsoft (folder) Click on: Internet Explorer (folder) then last but not least Click on: Main (folder) and manually type in the Main (folder) "RunOnceComplete"=dword:00000001 "RunOnceHasShown"=dword:00000001 Not knowing much about computers from your instructions below that's what I would do. Is that right?? I really want this problem fixed sooooooo bad it's driving me to well I'd rather not say....... Question: Internet Explorer 7 Gold RunOnce Removal Added: 10/19/2006 Category: Tips & Tricks Views: 306 Rating: (4.7) By: 3 users Answer: Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer 7 Version: 7.0.5730.11CO Update Versions: 0 The annoying Runonce linking to runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx either fails to start or you do not want it to start. There is no reasonable explaination as to the purpose of this link. All settings may be changed within the installation of itself without linking to Microsoft. I have found solutions for IE 7 Beta 2 and other versions which included registry keys that are not required for the Gold release and I discovered a key that is required, not mentioned anywhere else. To bypass IE7 Runonce Create this registry file ----RunOnceDone.reg--------- Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main] "RunOnceComplete"=dword:00000001 "RunOnceHasShown"=dword:00000001
  8. I'm having the same problems and have never gone into my registry and changed things. I think I followed the instructions correctly and could not find the subkey [RunOnceHasShown] . I have registrysmart and ran it and there were over 500 problems; I clicked fix and it did not fix a thing? Heeeeeeeeelllllllllp me Thanks, Dyann
  9. I'm using MS XP Pro for starters and I downloaded among many other things IE7. I'm having mega problems like pages are not loading in correctly; I can't delete e-mail from yahoo mail. I can't evern get into MSN hot mail. I'll try to go some where mostly places like yahoo or msn; or job searching on some sites and the buttons will be missing to post resume's or what ever. I don't know if it's and ad in or something conflicting with other programs. Any ideas? Oh and in the address bar where you would click to refresh there is a padlock. It's a mess.................. On this site I can't for example click on one of the "Clickable Smileies" and have it work? Thanks, Dyann
