Very much possible Get this file.NTVDM_nlite.inf Copy to inf subdirectory of windows directory. Run the following: Install 16-bit subsystem: rundll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\NTVDM_nlite.inf,NTVDM.Install Remove 16-bit subsystem: rundll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\NTVDM_nlite.inf,NTVDM.Remove

Can be restored. No formating needed! Have you solved it? I had the same problem, so I made an installer by which you can add 16 bit support. No uninstaller. Sorry! Please let me know if you want that.
