wow man thanks a bunch but one thing what do u mean run devilsown on ur computer as a laptop? and i gotta thank u for taking the time to write that long ill try all those tips u gave me.. but tweakxp just gives me the nerves.. i hate that program bootvis i usually use that.. defrag, i use the XP one.. do u have a better one i can use? well... my main reason is that i can't have my 2nd backup partition that i usually have when i install devilsown.. And i tried to uninstall some s*** but the stuff that starts up at computer start up still stay there and if i uncheck them from the msconfig, then some s*** wont work.. I just want to start fresh n s***.. I hope i knew what they did to make this work so wel.. when i install devilsown, i cant make it as flawless as they did.. im lookin around the hard drive for some proprietary drivers so i can install when i put devilsown back up but the only thing i found was the drivers folder in C:hp, and they got drivers for every component. but i dont think that those drivers will do the job.. Any ideas on how to make a devilsown copy work so well? again.. all comments appreciated greatly THanks BLACKWAR

Hey, Right now, i installed the HP Windows XP Oem version that comes with your computer when u buy it.. and im wondering, how do they make everything work properly.. everything is so fast and s***.. is there a trick they do or something ? I want to learn how they make it work so nicely.. is it the proprietary drivers? or something like that? anyone have a idea? The reason i am asking this because i want to apply all the things they did on a fresh copy of the devilsown but everything i tried, i cant get it to work flawlessly like this one... I would use this version , its just that all the programs that are installed just bug bug me... all comments appreciated greatly thanks BLACKWAR

Something interesting again... i dunno why they always happen to me.. but here goes, I use the start menu like double size(expanded) whatever u wanna call it, and when i restart my comp, it goes back to 1-bar view... any way i can fix this?

lol yeah its very faint.. but like i said, i sit REALLY close to the case, so thats probably why im hearing it.. thanks for clearing that up.. im not so worried anymore

Hey , My computer sits very close to me and i hear almost every noise that comes from it( yeah i know sounds funny).. but one thing, when im scrolling, or doing anything that uses the CPU, the noise that comes inside of the comp(the noise u hear when ur watching tv.. the kinda annoying sound)stops, and then when the CPU is at rest, that sound comes back again.. is this normal? Does this happen to anyone else? My system specs are on my sig.. thanks >BLACKWAR

yea but norton utilities is a total different thing than systemworks... i know it includes nutils but i was talkin bout norton utilities

yeah... windows is getting too buggy to actually be called an "OS" lol.. this is not so large of a bug .. but still, a bug is a bug

in my opinion, system restore was much better in windows ME.. they screwed up buncha things when changin the s*** to "XP"

I just found another bug in windows XP... If u remember someone posted a thread about the CPU shooting up to 100% when clicking and holding the minimize button of a window.. Well now i found one of the same things.. When u right click on a file ( not folder ) and the menu just sits there, dont click anywhere, just right click on any file and look at ur cpu usage... goes up to 100%.. interesting eh?

Hey, I remember someone on my old forum posted a link to a microsoft website where u can download the windows updates directly to ur hard drive, so u dont need to dload em every time u reformat.. can someone post that link again? i think it was Conan who posted it.. I would appreciate if you could post it again thanks BLACKWAR
