  4. Hello, it it possible to remove the Temp Folder to: C:\Temp for ALL user during unattended? I know there are some options to move the whole profile to another location, perhaps somebody found a solution to do this with the tempfolder
  5. hm... it seamed we must use a "," in the allowedPrograms section like: AllowedPrograms = WindowsFirewall.RemoteAssistance, WindowsFirewall.example1, WindowsFirewall.example2, WindowsFirewall.example3

  7. oh... ok... I just started it only for testing. After Reading the doku. and creating my own Files I found my mistake
  8. I got an error using XPlode with the SetupParams Section in my winnt.sif. The log sayed the Xplode.XML can´t be found. BUT I don´t use the XPlode.xml :-( [SetupParams] ; Install Programms & Hotfixes at Windows T9 Installation UserExecute="%systemdrive%\install\xplode.exe /sml:%systemdrive%\install\xplode_hotfixes.xml /log:c:\temp\Xplode_install.log" UserExecute="%systemdrive%\install\xplode.exe /sml:%systemdrive%\install\xplode_apps.xml /log:c:\temp\Xplode_install.log" The log sayed: The Problem is... How can I use the setupParams Section in the winnt.sif with the XML Files and logging...

  10. My XML is the orginal I have installed with XPlode. I don´t have done any changes on it... I only install/extract XPlode and tested it to see the output...
  11. Hi, how can I use Xplode so that it looks like: http://xplode.voidfx.com/modules/xoopsgall...=XPlode1_02_dev but without a modifized Winntbbu.dll only the nice looking menu. Must I only add Xplode to the [setupParams] in the winnt.sif ? What x4d must I use? My unattended runs with batchfiles, so I never use the installation @ T12 but it looks more professioneller

  15. I have the same problem... it doesn´t worked with my unattended installation... But much better for me would be to create a script or set an option in the winnt.sif so that all accounds use our Proxy Auto Configuration (PAC) but I don´t have found a solution. like: http://proxy01/config.pac But I don´t found a option to use .pac files... Can anybody help???
  16. Oh.... Yes... thanks... It works... Now I can provide an Windows unattended installation CD without Mediaplayer (www.VideoLan.org rockz ) und without Outlook. Great
  17. I found a solution to creat a installationpack for the Internet Explorer WITHOUT Mediaplayer, Outlook Express and the other bulls***... I only use the IE for updating my system and don´t need the other crap. Solution: It can be done with the IEAK from Microsoft (See screenshot). Problem: The system will autoreboot after installation my packet. And I don´t know how to disable this feature. Does anybody know how to disable it?

  19. Hello... does anybody know if I can configuring the SNMP via an unattended setup? I will configuring the following things: - allow read access from... - use hostnames in configuration, not IP adresses... - disallow read access from any other host (excepions apply)... - set the following trap receiver hosts.. - set trap community = public... - enable option "Send authentication trap" in tab "Security"... - change snmp read community string and read/write community string to non standard value... - send a mail containing this information (community strings, hostname) to....

  21. I got it This new file was Installed when I was visited the: http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/v5co...t.aspx?ln=en-us for the first time and Installed the updatet my system so that I can use the Ver. 5 Update Service...
  22. Yes... It´s the new Windowsupdate Site for Win 2003 and XP But some files must be updatet so that Windows can use this new update site... And I wish to install this files automaticaly... So my customer mustn´t install the update vor the Ver. 5 Updateservice...
