oobeinfo sucks big time, if it works on XP defiitely it won't work on 2003 and even on Xp won't work sometimes can we specify password for the accounts i specify in [userinfo] section of oobeinfo.ini??

Hello guys My Question is about welcome pages in Windows XP (Welcome Wizard) which appears after i boot the PC for the first time after sealing it (using Sysprep -reseal). I know to customize the welcome pages using oobeinfo.ini file.. at last the wizard ask me to forcefully add the users to the OS Install Does any one know to skip that page asking for additional users to be added to the Windows XP install? In my environment all i need is a local admin account. no additional users. Thanks Karan

hi thr! To customise Windows Welcome pages you need to write a file called oobeinfo.ini and store it in C:\Windows\System32 folder. In that you need to define the serial key under version section like [Version] abcde-fghij-klmno-pqrst-uvwzy how to add and modify other attributes... see ref.chm help files in Windows XP Sp2 deployment tools... freely avaiable on microsoft site
