  1. Still not fixed (as Win11ARM wrote) in 3.9.10.
  2. Is there a way I can get that beta somewhere? v3.9.8 does NOT fix it.
  3. Nobody ever solved this problem? I have checked out my WINNT.SIF file and it contains the key. I can enter the key manually and it works. But it won't insert the key from the WINNT.SIF for some reason...
  4. Could someone post a result after your tests please? I just ran into the same problem with my XP x64 SP2 cd...
  5. Mine is in danish but it's the same error: I have that only that update (KB956390) and and Windows Media Player update (KB939683) left. I DID try to switch them around, taking the WMP update first. Then I get this: saying it's missing WMDRMSDK.DLL. There is no other updates than these two. My only way out was to put them in the RunOnce section. So now I finally have been able to do a fully up-to-date danish Windows XP Pro. Including DirectX and .NET.

Sorry, I forgot all about those files again But here they are (sensitive data removed): Last_Session.ini WINNT.SIF

I have added some screenshots to show exactly what I mean is going wrong. At first start it asks me if I want to activate Automatic Updates: Then I get in to windows for the first time after the installation. I go into the Control Panel and see this: After a single reboot I see this: I open Automatic Updates and I see this: Howcome? I set it to NOT use automatic updates at first start. Any ideas?
  9. I don't get this. I used the updated SNM_mod5 to make the installers I wanted. They are made from "dotnetfx35.exe" (SP1 version (231Mb)) and "dotnetfx35langpack_x86da.exe" I just installed the resulting 2.0 & 3.0 versions at first. See the result here As you can see, it installs .Net istself without any problems... But what happened to my language files??? They are only for SP1??? I DID use the language pack noted in post #279. Any ideas?

Well... I took a clean copy of my XP Pro Danish CD (not even SP1). Then I ran through nLite, adding SP3, and did the settings I want. I am running it as a "Repair Prompt" CD. When I do a test install, it asks for network connection, and if I want automatic updates activated (even though I turned it off). After install Automaic Updates is activated in windows, BUT it just notifies me??? oh... and the Automatic Updates icon in the control panel has no name, untill I do a reboot This actually occured on 3 test installs. However... I am looking past that problem for now, as it's a minor one I now started to experiment with slipstreaming and "run-once" stuff

eh... It was a CD with Windows XP Pro SP3. Nothing else... if that's what you mean

Oh forgot... Didn't nLite use to save the "Label" in the session also?

I noticed a bug that have been introduced in v1.4.9.1. When I create a disc, then I set Automatic Updates to "Notify before downloads" and set a mark in "Include minor updates" The "LAST SESSION.INI" has these data saved: AutoUpdates = 3 AutoUDay = 5 AutoUHour = 15 AUMinor However when I install windows using the disc, then Windows Update is set to AUTOMATIC! I have tried making the disc about a dozen times now. Same result every time. Am I the only one who has this problem?
  14. That's correct
  15. I just run it... No switches required as it just runs in the background anyway and never asks for reboot.
