Hi ive finished all the tweaks i want for my xpcd but one thing bothers me...when i first load it it needs defraggin.....ive tried using widows basic defragger but it just hangs so i got myself diskeeper 10 and wanted to know if someone could write or knows a script that would automatically set it to defrag the harddrive and then auto shut down the pc? Thanks in advance!!!

Ive started using Autoit to install some applications but i want to add these to my install.....I need to know how u can install Autoit silently...its packaged with NSIS but the usual switches arent working for me ....any help appriciated!

Ive made my unattended cd but comin back to do some revivions.....cannont remember how u make a silent pack install at t13.....

just got topdesk and would love it to be on my unattended disc..... its an NSIS installer and when u use the standard S switch is doesnt install it properly...... any idieas of making it so it chooses the correct option

like it says in title I was wondering if it is possible to script disc cleanup and disc defrag to run after all my programs have installed? So that this is also done unattended? Run switches or what? ok so not the well of information....I want to run diskeeper pro 10 and the normal windows disc cleanup.....is this possible and if yes how to do it?

is there a regedit code to stop programs from auto running? similar to the way u can turn em of in msconfig? i found a way to so it with services but no luck with apps.... any answers?

Same wuestion as topic title.... do any of the virutual machines you can test your unattended disc on actually display the theme and or background you tell windows to set in winnt.sif ? I thought it was a prob with my coding but now im not so sure..... also if no if i pre patched uxtheme .dl_ should it display msstyles files? Thanks

thatnks ...my programs are installed using a batch file.....It just is there a way to make a universal settin so nothin but the windows programs start.....? thanks for the info on services

Hays ive been working on a windows xp sp2 unattended cd which also install office and afew programs i use...the problem is that on the first load they all popup and slow the launch time significantly.... If possible is there any way to stop these programs from starting so only the basic windows tasks start up? So its like when u untick the start up list in msconfig? Also if this IS possible anyway for it to disable / stop services as default? Thanks

hays ive been working on an unattended install for a while nows but it keeps loading the SP2 options where you need to select if autoupdates are on or off, register with microsoft AND add user name. i have there in the winnt.sif file already...any ideas? winnt.sif

does this restart come into effect AFTER batch file installs?
