sent PM's not being saved?

I've looked all over the place to try and correct this and I just cant find the setting.

My sent PM's used to always be saved but since i archived my PM folders and emailed them to myself me sent PM's are no longer being saved.

My memory is short, i need the sent PM's to remember what i said ....

help appreciated.

xper already added a mod where the users control this themselves.
