jcarle Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 For those of you who don't know, here's a little tip:Copy your office 2007 cd to a folder on your computer. Then, run the Setup with the /admin switch.Enter your serial number and check accept license agreement under the "License and user interface" section.Save the file as default.msp in the Updates folder in your office 2007 folder.Burn the office 2007 folder back to CD.And voila, you have a office 2007 cd with the serial number automatically entered and the license agreement already accepted automatically.
IceBlackIce Posted November 15, 2006 Posted November 15, 2006 In case you want to use several MSP files, use the /admin switch and make the file, save it somewhere (besides the update folder) and when running the setup use the switch ( /adminfile <file.msp>) and you're done.

pdmcmahon Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 this dose not work with me, it tells me not all files needed to install are there...That means you do not have a qualified product (one that will let you install silently), if you have a standard retail copy, then you cannot run the silent setup.

prathapml Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Hi jcarle, thank you for this information I do know that the intention was to prevent having to repeatedly enter in the same details when you install office 2007.I dont mean to hijack this topic, but for the sake of sharing info - if further info is needed on deploying office 2007 unattended, then do take a look at - http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=72392
