I have a laptop computer with windows 2000. it''s connected to a local printer HP 895CXi. When I print to the printer, the printer only prints one page then stops. any ideas?? :)

I have expeirence of Printer Drivers not working correctly in windows 2000. I suggest you try looking for a SE (second edition) driver. Usually many companys release these type of drivers.

If not check out the Support Forum at the Printer developers site, or mail them with your problem.

tried the w2k driver from hp, installed that, still same problem, checked the bios settings, tried both ecp and bi-directional. deleted the driver reference in the registry, no conflicts fount, any ideas? :)

But was it the Second edition releasE for windows 2000? Did you try contacting HP for help through mail or forum?

PS: sorry bout not knowing, but what do you mean by ecp and bi - directional?

talked to several techs at hp and at our business, they suggested to reimage the system rather than trying to fix the problem.
