RayOK Posted October 22, 2003 Share Posted October 22, 2003 I use Kerio Personal Firewall and it's great, except for one thing, the splash screen that pops up when Windows starts. Well, most people know that you can disable that by patching PERSFW.exe with the KPF Splash Screen Killer. Now, the cool part is including that patched file in the Installshield .cab file so you don't have to patch it again when you go to install Kerio. Using i6comp.exe from ie6comp020.zip on this site I copied over the PERSFW.exe in data1.cab and went to test it. It worked great! Now I can install Kerio Personal Firewall 2.1.5 and not have that annoying splash screen that pops up every time.: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
