coldoven Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Hey--My computer is going on 2 years old now, and so is the CD of XP (SP 1) I was given with it. Everytime I do a reformat (every 8 months or so) I go through hours of updates to XP... is there a way for me to land the most recent version of XP from Microsoft w/o having to actually buy a new copy?thx
tap52384 Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Integrate SP2 and the following updates (http://unattended.msfn.org)
Ponch Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 You can download SP2 once and for all, and RyanVM's last version of "Post SP2 update pack" and integrate them all in a new CD, using nLite for instance. It is very easy if you are ready to spend one more hour on it. Exploring all the options in nLite is not mandatory.
